(and as we all know there's nothing us Irish love more than praise from people who are not Irish)
They seem to think that our team is going to be dismantled at the end of the year though. They know about Rodney and AJ, but they don't seem to know about Bealham, Conan and Boshoff.

I think at one point Gerry described Connacht as the greatest story in European Rugby in the professional era (I may have even further exaggerated his hyperbole there).
He did however offer the somewhat bizarre opinion that the Challenge Cup is more winnable than the Pro12 for Connacht.

I heard Munster are changing the Limerick flag colours to green & gold so Ultan will feel more at home. :silly:
Remind them he was born in Paris and lived there until he was 8 and Kerry was just an interlude until he got to Galway. Then Connacht offered him the best: he would not be in the position he is in if he had gone elsewhere. The coaching, the team and the atmosphere are all keeping him comfortable. Why would anyone want to go to Munster for coaching!?

Lads ye are WAY off the mark here. Ryan is clearly palling up to Dillane to try and get his foot in the door with Connacht. I for one would welcome his signing, but he shouldn't expect to walk into the starting team.

This Edinburgh fan has placed a bet on Connacht being in the final of the Pro12.

Can we report BOD and Ryan for grooming? On a slightly more serious note I would say it would be harder for Argos Dunsha to turn a lad's head towards Limerick's Greek Olympic Stadium than it was for BOD to sell the Goys and the Broight Loights.

Ultan Dillane’s own personality and sponge-like desire for information probably makes the Tralee-reared Connacht lock a hard man to cold shoulder in any case.
“Ultan is a good-natured guy if he wants to learn all you can do is give him the information, it’s up to him whether he accepts it or not and at the moment he’s been very forthcoming and it’s great to train with him. His positivity, like Josh [van der Flier], has been tremendous and they’re great guys in the pack to have . . .”
“He’s a fantastic guy, lovely fella. Just a great personality . . . Great Kerry guy and I am just thrilled to bits for him, like, because he is going to be a tremendous player. He is an incredible athlete, massive thirst for knowledge and he is constantly asking questions.”
Here we go.
