Jamie Hagan gave his all for Connacht every time he played, the practice of calling a player who leaves "judas" should be left to followers of pikey football.

A good tight head is difficult to find. Leinster won't entertain the idea of hagan leaving.
As for Carr, well we just got Tonetti on loan, why not see if we can get him back that way?

100% agree with you. Carr followed his buddys because he applied the 'Lemming's theory of career advancement' without any thought. He should have stayed from the start...he knows it now and we all know it. As for Jamie, he was brilliant for Connacht and never gave less than 100% everytime I saw him play. Unfortunately, I don't think the move to Leinster was at quite the right time for him .
Both of them should still be with Connacht and I have a feeling come contract 'shopping' time that we may not have seen the last of them................but I may be wrong?

A Leinster man returning to play for his own province is not a judas.
It ended badly, and was handled badly on all sides, but it's over now. Good luck to all of them and I hope they push on, get HEC caps and become internationals.

All this Judas talk doesn't sit well with me. He made his decision to leave prior to us getting in the HC and the truth is we just don't know the facts about why the board came out and said he had signed verbally.
The man gave his all everytime he put on the jersey - what more can you ask for? I honestly think if he is sat in the Leinster A team for any more this season he will be coming back to us in the near future.
By the way last time i checked a few weeks back Hagan was the only professional player to be following the clan on twitter. Now that is not something a Judas figure would do.

I had never anything against keatley or sean leaving as it was all done fairly. cant blame players for leaving to play as you said, short carier's.
as for fionn, he wanted to leave told us all that but the fool had no team to go too. then turned around and wanted to stay after he stabbed us in the back.
as for judas, said he would sign, didnt rest is a very very laughing matter. fool.
our scrum was good last season but he got a big head.

It's a waste of two talented players who now find themselves back at square one with Leinster, but they knew the risks...

Now I don't think too any people in the Clan have any bitterness towards Jamie Hagan, he served out his contract giving us many great displays, sports careers are short so you've got to look after no. 1 et cetera and so on.
But from a career point-of-view, f***ing eejit! He hasn't even made the bench for Montpellier. In fact, himself and Carr are playing Esher in the B&I Cup this weekend, when they could be playing for us** at the Stoop.
Cronin and Keatley at least made the bench for their respective provinces.
**Please nobody raise the old chestnut about Carr being told to do one, by the time he'd stopped dallying with Ulster and Leinster and decided he'd be better off with us, we'd signed a replacement. All of which doesn't mean we wouldn't be delighted to have him back for next year.
