Actually I think that's what he did with his medical records before signing for us...

He went to Otago last I heard. Ring casualty in Dunedin hospital, they're bound to be familiar with him.

Love the idea but I think he is to light to be an 8

Would like to see TOH given a run - either for Carr, Healy or Leader
unfort I think George falls into the "old stagers" for me, hasn't done much this season - Conneely doing well for Corinthians so could be give him a run at 6 with Muldoon at 8?

(1) size of pack and lack of go-forward ball.
(2) old stagers aren't up to it.
(3) where we finish in the league is irrelevant to where we play in Europe (no HEC/full HEC with us in Amlin based on league position/gelded HEC which we're in anyway) so we need to blood players.
(4) we want a win.... badly.
So assuming that White Marmion and Henshaw aren't available the next few weeks, are we thinking something roughly along the lines of the following for the Glasgow match?
Leader, Carr, Griffin, McSharry/Ronaldson, Healy, Carty, POD;
Wilkinson, Heffernan, Ah You, Kearney, Clarke, Browne/Muldoon, Heenan, Naoupu.

Combining that with the possibility of being without Marmion and Henshaw and I will expect just 1 win from the 4. I'm not saying they should give up or cannot win with players like Carty or Leader in the side I'm just trying to keep my expectations in line after Saturday. At this stage I would be happy to see a string of 4 games where first up tackles are made, silly penalties are cut out, passes go to hand and they demonstrate some creativity in the backline or at least take the ball on at pace rather than standing still. In other words work on getting the basics right.
Marmion is clearly the number 2 scrum half in Ireland. However I can't see him going from number 5 to number 2 in the space of a few months in Schimdt's head.
JS made a real balls of not blooding Marmion in the Autumn and I can't see him making the 23 for the AI.
Henshaw may make the 23 and JS is a big fan.

I'm a stuck record when it comes to this. Walking out the gate after every home game the past two years I say it all the time
