He's a big lad for an 18/19 yo but he's not exactly a giant. That's not to take away from his talent but he might need another year or two at least before he can bench regularly for the seniors. I suppose having seen both rodders and saba in ordinary clothes they're about the same size rodney seems much denser as befits an older prop who's listed at 8kg heavier (sidenote no way is rodney 6'2'').

It's the red button anyway. I think SS1, but I could be wrong. I'm going to the game but I set it to record last night, which is why I know it's on the red button.

A line I love using if we go down a score while playing is that you only ever lose when you give up, and we are not effin giving up.
These are the nights why these Connacht players play the game. I of course have my reservations over this Connacht side and the challenge ahead of them, we generally get fired up for inter pro's, and no reason why they shouldn't be giving it their all tonight.
I am eagerly awaiting this fixture, I'm not too optimistic, but hoping that we put the fight to them and hold nothing back.

Whatever crowd is in there be it 5/6,000, hopefully more, lets get behind the lads and let them know we're with them.
Lets show Sarries what a real club is about and show their owner that we are the type of club the Heineken Cup should be about. Local, passionate, proud. We know we belong here at this level. We've suffered through the bad times to get here, lets embrace it. We've put it up to big teams before and we will continue to do so in the face of adversity.
Lets give them hell
Absolutely. It's game day, not a cloud in the sky in Galway, so conditions will be ideal. As darkness descends on the sportsground, and the heinkeken flows, hopefully the Clan will find their voice and give the team the lift they need. Every big tackle, every decent carry should be greeted with a roar from the stand to help drive the boys on. Those who were at the Toulouse game a few years ago will remember that despite the result, it was an atmosphere rarely seen at the sportsground. So let's enjoy it. As I said earlier in the thread, we're joint leaders of the group going into this game, and the Heineken Cup might well be gone next year, so we have to make the most of it. Come on Connacht!

locks set a precedent when moved from loosie to tighthead so here's hoping rodney can do the sam
our midfield looks creative on paper but they've never played together before!!!!

Saracens won't be able to be anything other than over arrogant and we are a wounded animal.
On any given match day..........
A win would be incredible, but if we can run them close and make them work for it, I would be happy with some good individual performances and a big reduction in defensive mistakes....
I think the team, squad, management need this. it's been a hard start.
