I stayed in a few of the B&Bs around College Rd when I was between houses for a while last year and there was really good value to be had some weekends if I booked late, though when I look now they don't seem great value.
Senior team are usually away the weekends of B&I Cup home games so that might ease demand. As Rossie says keep an eye on the comparison sites. A lot of them have free cancellation now so you can always book something and cancel if something cheaper comes up.

Also the under 20's play Munster on the Friday 20th September and i want to bring the rest of the family as well for this.
Does the clan have any recommendations for good cheap accommodation whilst in Galway.

AFAIK we will be on summertime rates til the end of September which is a lot more expensive hotel wise. A friend of mine stays down regularly during season and he uses the hotel comparison websites for best deals. He rarely stays in same place twice in a row as a result as best deal moves from week to week. There is good value to be had after October on those sites .
