The easiest route I found and booked is Dublin - Bordeaux (Aer Lingus) then TGV to Toulouse (2hrs approx). The return, Toulouse - London Gatwick (Easyjet) and a connecting flight to Dublin (Ryanair). The times work very well and fairly reasonable prices at the moment. The TGV tickets can be purchased 2/3 months in advance online, for example 1st class €25 and 2nd €15/€20. If left until a few days beforehand or on the day itself it can be pricey. (Dates of travel: Sat 7th Dec - Mon 9th Dec)
The craic was mighty last time in Toulouse, great city, welcoming fans and great gang who travelled, so I couldn't face missing out!

Think you might need to look at the Italian Holidays thread also, if it relates to this subject....

Apologies if I've caused any problems. I had been outside having a smoke at work in my Connacht jersey one day, and got talking to someone from the office. He let me know, but did say to keep it to myself.

REQUEST TO TAKE THESE DOWN
Hi guys,
I just got a phone call from Connacht Rugby asking me to take these down as they could face a "5 figure" fine if the ERC think that Connacht leaked the dates. If the source can be confirmed as elsewhere I will re-consider.
Diom.
Is this the first definitive proof that the Branch check out the boards here? Just interested to know.
No, they have talked to us before about other posts/topics, but in general the "intervention" is not as drastic as this. I think the fact hat they could easily be fined is what drove the request for taking the info down. Connacht Rugby keep an eye on pretty much all of the major forums about rugby (and us!) as far as I know.
@Cows: If you have overheard someone from the ERC talking about the fixtures then feel free to post it. If people at the ERC are loose with their lips then it's certainly not the fault of Connacht Rugby as far as I can see.
To be honest this is an awkward position for the Connacht Clan. We are supporting Connacht Rugby obviously and if something here is jeopardising them then we obviously do not want it. However we are a community of pretty hard-core rugby fans and if there are rumours/information out there in the public eye then we should be able to discuss it. We just have to try and walk the line.

Dont know if it helps, as I didnt actually post anything, but my work office is very close to the Rabo Pro 12/ERC building in Dublin. Lots of open conversations around Ballsbridge at lunch time

Sorry about this. Was asked to remove the fixtures as there was a potential Connacht Rugby could be fined over the leaking of these dates. If the dates were leaked via another team I guess it is okay but otherwise not.
Anyway if you REALLY REALLY need to know the dates that TheCulk is "guessing" that the fixtures will be then you should contact him privately. Otherwise we will see you all back here on Monday!

Really don't want the Toulouse away game to be on a Sunday...
I hope so too! I got them off another board and the guy is reliable. But lets just wait and see
