Keatley kicked well but defensively he was poor. Ireland stumbled over the line in the end in a game they should have won extremely comfortably. The poor scrummaging display was particularly worrying. Not a great deal to be enthused about I'm afraid but then again like we saw with Wales yesterday when you are down to the bare bones we just don't have the depth.

Was it just me or has he gotten bigger? He seems to have put on a lot of muscle over the last few months

I didn't say TOH had a bad game. He was very good and his defense in the second half was excellent. Griffin also did himself a lot of favours but Morris's second try and Ireland 4th was brilliant and shows he's got that x factor. Was very little in it but for me Morris pips him.

TOH made more breakthroughs than him, and the Irish 2nd try is 100% Connacht (Kicking pass from Griff to TOH)

Emerging Ireland 42 - 33 Uruaguay. Was all Uraguay the last 20 mins which won't make Clarke happy. The stand-out player for Ireland was Niall Morris.

Maybe but he is a good 12, a bad 10 but a good 12. He's being doing well in the B&I Cup there and now that they seem to realise that's his position rather than 10 or 15 I think he'll get better and better. And it is 'Emerging Ireland' rather than Ireland A.

Griffin only on the bench for the SA match. Something up there? Or coaches don't rate him.

He usually is very good in defense but it looks like he was targeted by the big forwards and wasn't given the support he needed to hold them up. Good spot by the attack coach.

I was surprised too. But the stadium is located on the outskirts of Tbilisi very far from the center, and an Emerging team attracts less than a full team. In November, more than 15 000 spectators in Tbilisi (v Japan and Fiji)

Keatley is a good kicker but was poor in defence
Just on this short video, he missed 4 tackles (in fact he missed 1 tackle, on the 3 others actions, he did not even move)
