Went to see the game at the Dropping Well as it was close to me. The staff are the rudest pr*cks ever! It's a nice pub but I got insulted I'd say at least twice by the staff and one of them stole my seat for the second half after i went to the bathroom! Not recommended at all.

Not sure what the Germans and Polish think of rugby. None of them ever ask about Connacht :(

At least my Director cares though. He's head of IT in the company, and popped over to my desk on Monday, and told me that he was thinking of me on Friday night. I hope he was talking about the rugby match

I dont think I can make it to Slatterys tonight.
One of the lads at work is leaving today, and I'm expected to show my face at the party.
Thought I could sneak out around 6:30, but there looks to be a substantial bar tab at the party, and I'm not going to lie to you, if there's free drink to be had, and a little 12inch black and white panasonic in the corner showing the match, I cant see myself leaving the party.
Sorry

Right, I aim to be in Slatterys around 7:30 tomorrow night, most likely on my own. If you see a Connacht jersey with a pint of Guinness and popping for cigarettes constantly before kick off, come over and say hello

I think slatterys would probably be the best one as its easy to get to from town. There will be 2 of us there anyway. Hopefully my blood pressure will have gone back to normal by then!

I was just browsing through the topics and saw this, If you are stuck you could try the Horse Show House it has sky on the red button and has played Connacht matches in there before when I wanted to watch them.

So is there only 3 of us interested in watching this?
I'm going to pass on the baton and ask someone else to name the pub, and I will do all I can to be there. Going to be working until around 7 in town, so I can go most places.

I think we need to decide on a pub, and spread the word. I'm going to ask on Twitter to see if there are any other crowds watching it anywhere

Sweet. Let me know if you get it arranged. Hogan's near the market bar fly's a Connacht flag maybe them to if Slattery's doesn't work out. Just a suggestion.
