Think on it Ummm neither the Fields of Athenry or Stand Up Fight are what you'd call the most rousing songs when you hear them but on the terraces...

If we're gonna have an anthem then it should be this:
Men of the West by the Clancy brothers (or whomever I think you could get a kickass punk version out it)
Listen to that Chorus!

Pretty apt considering how the international team is doing as well!

Odd song, sounds more like a lament than call to arms.
Will date pretty quickly too with current players names liberally laced through the song.
But at least he's trying, few enough songs about our wee province and fewer still about our sporting heroes...
