Thanks for that Diom. Maybe remove reference to newsletter. I can't find anything about a newsletter on the Connacht site!! Euro wasn't the query (unless it's for the pub and I'm not invited!!). As the Clan is only new it should be encouraged. Love the 'We are Connacht' cos I feel that Connacht is more than the team. While we have the numbers and are in the HC we need to build on this loyalty and belonging- don't want to go back to the few hundred in the rain

They are talking about the <strong>Connacht Rugby</strong> newsletter Mahick. The Connacht Clan one hasn't been sent in a while because it takes a lot of work and to be honest I got sick of doing it. Instead we have a Facebook page, a twitter account, a site and a forum. The site and the forum are what you are paying for, although you didn't have to send us €20! We also have all of our events now published 24/7 on the homepage so everyone can see what's coming up.

If you want your €20 back give me your bank details (PM me obviously) and I'll see what we can do.

In terms of structure, we are all volunteers. We are meant to be getting a lot of support from the branch but that hasn't panned out as well as we would like. For example we haven't received the mailing list season ticket holders for this year, so even if I had the inclination to send out a newsletter I don't have the email addresses of the STHs.

I answered a survey for Connacht Rugby last night and one of the questions was about a newsletter. - haven't seen one. It reminded me that although I've a season ticket and that includes the Clan, I forgot that and joined and paid €20 last July. I didn't mind cos I could have spent it more foolishly I thought... but.. I now think the 20 is gone into a black hole. There was supposed to be a newsletter and info sent.. nada.. I enjoy reading the topics and through the site knew where to go in Parma- thanks FourDogs.. Informally the Clan is great but is there any structure to it??
