At least 10 of that munster squad will be expecting decent gametime in Pro12 this season.
Imo Kilcoyne will share LH with Wian for most of the coming campaign and he is a very decent scrummmager. Ryan, Condon and another TH Cotter are going to push Archer out of the way this season as all are significantly better scrummagers at this point in time(unless archer has improved).
Luke o dea, ivan dineen, Danny barnes, sean scanlon and of course JJ will all be regularly in Pro 12 team and if Penney lives up to rep for giving youth a chance JJ, Scanlon and o dea could feature in big games.
IMo backs will prob line out Scanlon, R o Mahoney, dineen, barnes, o dea, JJ and Hurley.
Munster will give this connacht team a right run for their money.
Il be there.

That Connacht side should win, should be a good game, but really the main priority is fitness and getting everyone up to speed if they are required for the opening games which some of this team undoubtedly will.
Will be interesting to see how Walsh gets on at scrum half, underage player from Leinster but with 2 scrum halfs down a good performance here could move him into contention.
Pity Connacht aren't staging this in the evening. Ok I know a daytime game keeps down costs in terms of lights and so forth but a 6 or half 6 game would get a good crowd on a Thursday evening with very little extra costs. Maybe Munster want it during the day I don't know but its dissapointing for supporters not to be able to catch these games.
If the Branch want people to support Connacht A during the B&I Cup they need to get supporters into the habit of going to games and getting familiar with the players and that can't happen for most people if the games are staged for Thursday afternoons.

That's two pretty evenly matched teams. Would love to see this game as it seems to be a warm-up for players who are gonna be the bulk of our B&I squad for the year. Also Kilcoyne seems to be the latest great white hope for Munster in regards to props. Anyone going?

Connacht Eagles welcome Munster A's to the Sportsground
The Connacht Eagles will welcome Munster A’s to the Sportsground tomorrow (23rd August) at 3pm.
Academy Manager, Nigel Carolan, has made a host of team changes since the young side’s last game against the US American Eagles.
Former Irish U20s International and prop Finlay Bealham has been performing very well in training and made his senior debut against Exeter just two weeks ago.
Flanker and former Munster Academy player of the year Eoghan Grace joined Connacht last season from pre-season rivals Exeter Chiefs. Grace was a member of the Ireland 7's side that traveled to the 2009 World Cup in Dubai He was also a member of Eric Elwood's famous U20 grand slam winning team.
Another well-known name in the starting XV is Conor Finn, who appears on the wing. Conor was part of the Irish under 20’s squad that finished 5th in the Junior World Championship in South Africa during the summer.
Speaking about this year’s academy Team Manager Nigel Carolan said: “I’m very excited about the season ahead. The British & Irish Cup will provide some great opportunities for a lot of the academy members to play with the Connacht Eagles. We have some exceptional talent coming through the ranks and it’s up to us to help nurture and develop those players so they can make the most of the challenges that await them.”
“This game is again a great opportunity for some of the younger development players to get a run out and will give coaches a chance to look at players ahead of the British & Irish Cup which kicks off in October.“
Kick-off is at 3pm this Thursday 23rd August at The Sportsground and entry is free of charge.
