All the best to the guy and I do hope he is successful but.................
I am depressed at the thought of languishing in 7th place for the next few years, we have not strengthened the squad in any manner. Leinster have Fardy and Lowe arriving which is wow factor. Seems also that it's connachts responsibility for unearthing/repatriating average Irish players, although I do rate Tadgh Byrne, the rest of them left ireland because they were'not good enough in the 1st place, sorry rant over
Shane Jennings, Leo Cullen, and Mike Ross all came back from England to name a few. I do share your sentiment though, not particularly impressed with the work of our signings committee over the past year or so
Those 3 had all proven themselves at a top level abroad and we're at their peak when they returned, the closest we have got were jonny oc and duffy but they were probably on the decline when they came back to us, i'd cut off my right arm to get McGinty back

If you look at last year (15/16), despite being big shiny pants and finishing 9th, they had the joint 3rd best defence with just 36 tries conceded, with only Leinster and Ulster conceding fewer points and tries, which is some achievement.
The announcement says he finished with the Reds in 2015. Least aid about that the better, they were right down the wrong end of the table that year and the year before.
That's 4 senior coaches which is all any of the provinces get usually (Munster had 5 this season until Foley's tragic passing). So we may not be getting anyone else from the Chiefs coaching ticket but at least everyone bar Keane will be there at the start of pre-season.

Don't know much about them but the two lads playing loosehead in the AP surely have to be worth a look

€10,000 that will pay for 10 flights to send our academy players to New Zealand. I'm joking
We've been first or second in this for at least 7 years.
Am I wrong in thinking we were well of it last season, we got more cards?
Anyone has last years table?
