The Drua reclaimed the lead shortly after, however, when a wonderful cutout pass from inside centre Eroni Vasiteri putting winger Eroni Sau over in the left corner.

Announcement doesn't mention when he's due. NRC regular season goes til end October followed by semis/final.

Eroni will integrate into the squad in the coming weeks and I’m sure he will get a massive reception from the Sportsground crowd.”

now coming weeks is vague.

I'd imagine it will be after that which is kinda crap. He realistically will only get half a season to impress. Hopefully he stays injury free.

People wait for this line every year, but I don't think they've actually said it in years.

Only time I can find that sort of statement from Connacht is for 2014/15.

Good point actually, they normally include a "this brings our transfer dealings to an end" line to signal that all signings are done with, so hopefully one or two more to come. He looks like a physical centre but with good hands as well, very welcome!

Too often teams know they just need to close down Bundee and the other lads aren't going to struggle, a second option that can truck it up or take a good line will keep them on their toes and give Bundee more space.

Well pleased with that :)

Maybe its just me, but I find Bundee without comparison to all the other current 12 options. He is is incredibly aggressive, he pushes lines so, so hard. Chops asked the question about inside centre. Bundee is the only inside centre of that level. Ronaldson can break lines and run, Peter is a very raw and burly guy, but Bundee is defensively and offensively fantastic. So there is only one 12 at Connacht who is a definite first choice. Look back to when Bundee and Robbie (at outside centre) teamed up. Utterly devastating. The problem is to found at outside centre. Who will combine with him. I thought Tom did well, I thought Eoin did .well. Without Bundee I think our defence will struggle. And then Connemara Man made the observation that Ultan was held up and charged back during the Kings game. And its so true. We were beaten back time and again, which allowed no space behind to do much other than kick. I don't remember the kings kicking once during the game. Our backrow were ok. Butler is incredible, what a signing. SOB is just immense and was a huge loss and I think his loss meant we didn't push forward and kill the game as we should have. Out of interest, did anybody find it strange when Jack kickws a penalty on around the 50 minute mark when I really thought he should have kicked for the corner and we went after securing the BP. I just thought it was a mental decision by John. It ended up as a very nervy finish and it really shouldn't have.

To replace Bundee during the AI's. Pretty transparent signing really..
Maybe not quite in the same class, but we'll wait and see..

We definitely need as big a squad as possible, so all signings are welcome...

Exactly the same thing that I thought when I looked at it.

Big Unit, experienced in our young back-line squad, not expansive. Probably a very good signing.
No "end mention" indicated, so maybe still a chance I'll have the last ball-carrying 2nd row I'm looking for....

Himself and Bundee will be tough to deal with when the time comes.

Unless he gets picked by Fiji. His 4 international caps thus far have come in the summer internationals rather than the autumn ones, so hopefully he'll be available. Not like Fiji have a shortage of centres to pick from.
