Jesus, that is some turnaround.

"Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill." Muhammad Ali

FACECUTTR wrote: Just out of curiosity do players have many clauses in their contracts ? I know there would be one for relegation to a lower league but we don't have that in the pro 12. Could he have a clause that if we didn't get champions cup rugby he could walk ? That would be a disaster.
I'd hate to see him go but if we got a million for him I'm sure it would be put to good use in recruitment.
There's always going to be rumours and after a poor season they don't help.
I fully expect to read a version of this on Monday online lol
If he has a clause that says if Connacht don't get Champions Cup, he can move to a team that are odds on to get relegated tomorrow and spend the next season swatting away semi-pros to entertain some billionaire, then frankly he should line his agent up and tackle him through the nearest wall ...

sligsup wrote: Strong whispers in Galway tonight with an air on inevitably that Bundee is heading to Bristol, wouldn't put much weight on my sources but wonder has anyone heard anything more concrete?
It's probably just depressed chat among the fans. Going by the most conservative estimate of what Bundee's new contract is worth, it would cost Bristol more than a million to buy his contract out. The biggest fee I've heard of in rugby union was less than a fifth of that for Nakawara.
And please remember the Pundit Arena / Bindependent rule on rumours

It seems that he is a more a person of interest than suspect.

Conor Carey this time, which is very good news considering the level he was playing at prior to injury.
