Harsh enough on Boshoff. The chap got injured having played well and has since lost his father and had to take some personal time. Hes back in training now. He should be given the chance and some time to play and get comfortable.

The continuing selection of Carty at 10 has been incredible. It's known he's not good enough and yet he continues to start. The Boshoff experience has also been very disspiriting. Essentially he has three games to show if he can contribute or not. That's where our problems lie - 10 and the lack of direction.

Deflated like everyone today. There is not enough pressure on our top 15/20 players. When they are fit they get to play. We need new signings announced soon. Leinsters second string beat us home and away this season when on paper we should have taken both. Really worried about the final games now. Hopefully we can get some announcement this week.

I'd hate to see him go but if we got a million for him I'm sure it would be put to good use in recruitment.
There's always going to be rumours and after a poor season they don't help.
I fully expect to read a version of this on Monday online lol

If he has a clause that says if Connacht don't get Champions Cup, he can move to a team that are odds on to get relegated tomorrow and spend the next season swatting away semi-pros to entertain some billionaire, then frankly he should line his agent up and tackle him through the nearest wall ... :P

AJ had a great game for Sale today. I follow his career with interest. Wish he was still at Connacht. Oh well, get over it dobby

It's probably just depressed chat among the fans. Going by the most conservative estimate of what Bundee's new contract is worth, it would cost Bristol more than a million to buy his contract out. The biggest fee I've heard of in rugby union was less than a fifth of that for Nakawara.

And please remember the Pundit Arena / Bindependent rule on rumours :-)

It seems that he is a more a person of interest than suspect.

Another day, another player lets slip he's staying on in an interview.

Conor Carey this time, which is very good news considering the level he was playing at prior to injury.

I'm as down as anyone on this season, but even this team is not far off from being right among Ulster & the Scarlets. The farce that passed as a pre-season quite possibly cost them 6 points or more in the first three games, totally unprepared for Glasgow and Opsreys at home and could have done better against the Scarlets away. Probably should have won at least one of them and secured 2 losing bonus points. From there, IMO, Munster at home and the Dragons and Zebre away could just have easily been wins. With this kind of wishful thinking they're up around 60 points and breathing down Ulster's and the Scarlets' neck. Ulster finish the season away to Munster and the Ospreys and home to Leinster. The Scarlets have an easier run in but they do face Connacht in the Sportsground so, if I continue my delusional way of thinking, 4th place comes down to the final weekend of the season with Connacht needing to beat Munster at Thomond to take it.
