I think Jack has been involved in every match so far, so I guess he needs to be rested soon.

James Cannon signed Sept. 26 and made his debut Oct. 29, so not that surprised Boshoff hasn't featured immediately. Three weeks to the next game so I'd say we'll see him in the 23 for Cardiff and Treviso so he's up to speed for Wasps.

I guess with Rob Kearney starting this weekend the world as we know it will continue for a while longer :-). But who knows for how long :-)

You'd think that with tiernan and niyi playing this weekend, they will not be considered for Canada game due to player welfare

From Dragons;

Fullback Tom Prydie retains his position in the back three and is joined by wingers Pat Howard and Ashton Hewitt. The centre partnership remains unchanged with Sam Beard and Jack Dixon getting the nod. Fly-half Angus O’Brien returns from illness to replace Nick Macleod, and is joined in the halfbacks by scrum-half Sarel Pretorius.

The front row has one change made to it as loose head prop Phil Price joins hooker Thomas Rhys Thomas and tight head prop Brok Harris. The second row also retain their positions with Nick Crosswell and Rynard Landman at lock, with the back row consisting of flankers Lewis Evans and Ollie Griffiths and number 8 Ed Jackson.

The replacements bench sees Sam Hobbs, Nic Cudd and Tavis Knoyle join Rhys Buckley, Lloyd Fairbrother, Matthew Screech, Geraint Rhys Jones and Adam Warren.

I think that was 2 years ago, one of their second rows threw an elbow at Jacks head. I'm pretty sure this fixture wasn't on TV last year, but we got a bonus point win.

Was it last year when their lock was red carded fairly early and we won handily enough after that? The pitch was an absolute state if I recall. Don't expect any gimmies like that again but this is one of those must win away games if you're going to finish top 6. With our front row issues I'd settle for a 6-3 result in our favour.

Newport Gwent Dragons solitary victory in the Guinness PRO12 since the end of January was 11-6 at home to Zebre on 9 September.

Dragons won their most recent fixture at Rodney Parade: 37-16 over Brive in the European Challenge Cup but have not won successive matches at the venue since the New Year.

Connacht’s four game winning run in all tournaments ended with their defeat at Leinster on Saturday.

The Guinness PRO12 champions have not been victorious away from home in the Championship since a trip to Edinburgh in early March.

Connacht have won their last seven encounters with Dragons since the Men from Gwent were victorious 14-3 at Rodney Parade in November 2012.

Overall Guinness PRO12 head to head record:

Played 26, Dragons won 9, Connacht won 17.
