the scarlets at home made me beleive in top 6 and edinburgh away win gave me the confidence to think of top 4 and then munster at home gave me hope of a home semi-final and the rest is history.

what a year, what a team!!!

Beating Cardiff at home
They were our bane last season, with us blowing a good 14 point lead at home and then that heartbreak away..
To get one over them (with TBP for good measure) was rather important to put those demons to bed

Beating Ospreys and Munster away to break any feelings of inferiority (still haven't forgiven the Munster TMO for the whole 'look at it again ref' until he gave a penalty try though)

Withstanding the Ulster siege down to 13, in Belfast. After that you could see that they wouldn't crack.

I actually think loosing to Treviso was good for them, the focus in the two Glasgow games and the final might not have been so sharp otherwise...just as long as they don't do that again.

Signing AJ after the world cup turned out to be a masterstroke. He will be sorely missed but hopefully Boshoff will hit the ground running.

Probably not as big as the points above, but watching Connacht play away to Edinburgh and just dismantle them with some really fantastic, well-drilled and clinical rugby was amazing to see. You could see it throughout the season, but they pretty much turned it on for 80 minutes there, at what has traditionally annoying place to go and play rugby.

Honourable mention to the dispatching of Munster in Thomond.

I agree with all the above but for me its hard to overlook beating dragons away on a thursday night. We had a few lads gone into Ireland camp and the ones that were released back didnt train with us. Also take into account Jack Carty did his injury the week before on holidays so macginty started 10 and realise that wasnt the same confident macginty that finished the season

Not sure I'd call it a key moment, but that last 10 mins in Ravenhill, down to 13 men and refusing to let them score never mind rolling over as might have happened in seasons gone by, sent out a pretty powerful message on what this team is about.

So now that the season has ended in an unbelievable success what were your key moments from 2015/16?

Mine as they happened:
1) Glasgow away - After a scrappy enough win over Dragons on Day 1, trailing 30-6 against a very much understrength Glasgow side we looked set to blow our chance at making hay during the World Cup. We still lost but the manner of the comeback and the 2 points gained proved very important for the weeks ahead.

2) Ospreys away - Displacing a top team from their spot requires that you beat them at some point. Ospreys had started the season poorly, we'd gone away to many weakened Ospreys sides in the past and come away soundly beaten. Winning here was the first sign that Top 6 was likely.

2) Munster away - We'd had a good run while the World Cup was on but this game made a statement that this Connacht team had shed its inferiority complex. We battered Munster and withstood a couple of outrageous decisions by the officials to rally and finish with a flourish.

3) Scarlets home - After a wobble during December and January with lots of injuries and a couple of disappointing losses, this bonus point win was the springboard for us to go again. Denying Scarlets a losing bonus point at the end said a lot about our improvement too. Often in the past we'd have let the opposition leave with something which we'd regret later in the season.

4) Ospreys home - For me this sealed Top 6 and gave us the springboard to push for Top 4. This game was circled as huge for a long time and while Ospreys played impressively on the night we got the result.

5) Leinster home - Flagged as a big game for both sides. Leinster had dealt with us relatively easily in January. We were ready for this one, our performance was average but we toughed it out showing a new side to our character.

6) Munster home - For the first time ever we were favourites to beat a full strength Munster side and after a poor start we took it in our stride and demolished them justifying our favouritism with a sound bonus point beating

7) Glasgow home - We laid down a marker for the semi-final. We had to tweak our game plan a bit but it worked and we scored a deserved win

8 & 9) The knock out games - What more can be said.

Plenty more moments to look back on. The learning from some of the other losses played a key role in our success too and it has been spoken about so many times how what should have been the nightmare of Siberia turned into a bonding experience for the group.

Anyone any others?
