Now who does the green Connacht Jacket?...

.,Apparently green isn't a " cool colour" to sport to the local pub, club or mass.....

and that's why Ireland changed from green.. oh wait.. they didn't.. (and the Aldi green Connacht jacket sells out..)
I have a light lads rain jacket from yonks ago- great for the sunny days..

Yeah,ok,Ireland is green...but the Connacht shade of green ,except the Lidl version( and that was puke) ,is nowhere .That's the vexing point.
Now as for sunny days out at the Sportsgrounds ! ....In fairness there was one about 12 years ago v 'Quinn's in The Parker Pen Cup......and you could even buy a green Connacht jacket!

Also sunny days for the Bourgoin & Toulon games back in the day. European games seem to bring the sun out...
Yeah but you do tend to remember the wet days at the SG more because of the exposure to it...:pinch: ;)

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!

From my few trips out to him the only things he sold were hurls ( made on site) and lots of flags;he has a large shed beside the home place; he's in Pallaskenry on the Foynes road...as for green jackets its being a bee in my bonnet for years....just about any shade of blue, black and a rainbow of colours bar green....and they were available 15 yrs or so ago but the couple selling them were pushed out of the Sportsgrounds once Elverys became a kit sponsor.,Apparently green isn't a " cool colour" to sport to the local pub, club or mass.....

I ordered some of the car flags. One point to note is the flat rate delivery charge of €10. I actually got chatting to the guy who runs the site (I had messaged about just posting stuff rather than next day courier and he phoned me). He explained that he had hassle over the years with people claiming not to have received stuff etc. so he went with the courier approach. Anyway, he mentioned that he has hundreds of the car flags, and the bigger flags, as well as a load of connacht bunting that doesn't seem to be on the website. I got the impression he's had it all for a while, so perhaps the committee could consider doing a deal with him for a bulk order and selling stuff on for a small profit? I mean, we're planning to continue getting to finals for years to come, so we're gonna need flags :-)

I've been getting flags for years from this man. He's based out of limerick and sell lots of fan stuff ,even Connacht flags when no one wanted them, bar myself. He's easy to deal with and yes there is a delivery charge but that's the price when no one else in the province will sell it; ironically its a Munster man.He also makes a fine hurling too...its worth a drive out if you've the time.I've had my car flags for years, they've been on a few trips now and look the part.

You mentioned OMG recently. I went in to have a look and they have large flags for €11. I'll have to grab one of them.
But yes, we are going to need flags.
