Conor McKeown was 100% from the boot last season in the pro 12
1 kick from 1.
I love it because it proves stats don't really tell the whole truth

Something I noticed while reading the Season Comparison thread and points projection graph...
Season by season, here's the number of games we have failed to improve our points tally.
2013/14 - 9
2014/15 - 5
2015/16 - 1 (so far)
So at worst, should we gain no points from here on in, we'll equal last year on that front.
However, I suspect we'll get something from at least 2 if not 3 of the remaining games.
I think that has been key to our momentum and our current league position - despite losing the odd game, only once have we come away with nothing at all.

While I'm on the try stats, Healy's 9 league tries this far mean he has already surpassed Fionn Carr's Connacht record for most tries in a league season (8 in 2008/09) and his total of 11 gives him a chance of beating Carr's record for most tries in a season (14 in 09/10).
He's unlikely to best Carr's record for tries in one Challenge Cup season this year though (7 in 09/10), and at 28 tries he has a way to go before he takes Carr's record as all time Connacht try-scorer (41, and counting).

Connacht have equaled their previous record for tries in a league season (50 in 2003/2004) with 4 games to spare.
We are 3 tries off beating our best regular season total (72 in 2014/15) and 8 away from a new best seasonal total (77, again, last year), so expect those records to fall too.
However we would probably need to win the competition to set a new Challenge Cup scoring record (30 in 2009/10, we currently sit on 20).

Don't know if it's true but I read that when White was replaced against Leinster it was the first time in Connacht history that one current international was replaced by another current international...

In the interprovincials played to date this season Leinster have conceded an average of just over 4 points per game.
Nobody has scored more than 7 points against them.

From competition last week:
The last time Connacht fielded an unchanged team in the Pro 12 was the away game v Ulster on April 11th 2014.

I'll stand to be corrected but I don't think we've won a match on an artificial pitch.

Basically as the title says, give us your favourite, weirdest, best or worst stats regarding Connacht or the season.
For instance it occurred to me recently that we have very rarely been behind this season in games that we have won. I haven't been able to check fully yet but I found that of all the league games we won, we were only behind at half time in one of them, and only by one point.
Because its so new to us all that Connacht should be doing so well we still fear that things will go pearshaped, but to dominate games in that way is phenomenal imo and really shows the new edge that Connacht have over their opposition.
