connacht are connacht. we have most points scored, most tries scored, most points conceded, most tries conceded. we are connacht. we are entertaining. it is what we do. if you want to watch a different brand of rugby there are other teams to watch. so we will always be nervous and for those with heart conditions we are not the team to support.

isnt it strange. healy scored 3 tries and yet i thought some of his play was poor. tiernan did his usual at full back (do not get injured tiernan, you are a requirement), niyi made some amazing tackles. Overall a typical connacht game. And ya got to love it

A good point.

We just gave Zebre their worst home result of the season, winning with a try bonus for the fourth game running, we're top of the league, and we're complaining. :-D

Good times.

AJ MacGinty tackles made 13 missed 0
But there's more impressive McCartney did 16 missed 0! Stunning

McKeon did well, we should be fine if Masterson needs a recovey time.
Disappointed by Marshall, would like to have one of Dillane Roux or Browne for Ospreys. Fingers crossed

Peter Robb made a good impression when he came on too. And Tiernan had a very good game. Matt Healy seems to lose the ball in contact a lot. Think it happened three times today....else he could have scored even more tries !

A bit worried about the three injuries:

Ronaldson
Heenan
Masterson (looked v. serious knee injury)

When it was 20-24, with Masterson injured, the game could well have slipped from our hands. Very happy with the BP win 50 points, top of the league 7 games to go. Would we have complained about that in August?

PS : I think Heffernan played more minutes as backrow openside flanker cover, than he did as hooker this season :D

Decent win in the end but very sloppy in places.

Hope Masterson is alright........it didn't look great :(

We might pile on the points in the last 10 but this has been a much better game than it needed to be.

Another try for us and wonderful conversion from AJ. Now 38 to 27. A bit of breathing room. 62 mins gone.

Now 31 to 27. We've gotten our four tries but everytime we score we hand them back a try. We will lose this one yet if we're not careful.

We need to up the pace of the game big time as we look a bit lethargic. The good news is that we are ahead and have scored two tries. Our backs look dangerous. Anyone know what the issue is with Heenan ?

Zebre have spirit....pity GB FM phone connection dodgy at times.

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!

Two good tries but a poor display apart from that. We've had to soak up a lot of pressure and just as it looked like we'd done that we self-destruct. Zebre playing well but we are giving them the platform. Strong words needed at half time to lift us from our slumber.

Joe Schmidt might have to have a look at Matt Healy after that try.

Let's not count chickens before they're hatched and also a little respect for the opposing team.
Connacht have had to put up with that kind of comment over the years and I for one found it very difficult.

It is what it is, I'm calling it now as big points win. we'll cut them apart on good ground running rugby
