Great to get a bonus point I would have been happy with an injury free win. But seems we've gone one further than that.
Don't think so, it was a live feed only...!
No, the feed on the home page still works. The first 18 minutes is just lads clearing snow off the pitch. Then there is a brief montage from the Siberian tourist board and then a rugby match eventually breaks out. In fairness it's more entertaining than watching Brian O'Driscoll wandering around interviewing lads during the warm-up.
Good stuff...
I'd skip to minute 68' though, nit much to see up to that....

Did they get to the airport and have to return to their hotel etc? How far is it from airport to hotel?

Great turn around in the second half. Sounded like a very professional performance which is great. I'd put the turn around to a huge kick up the behind, and being able to communicate the analysis throughout the coaching staff. Weren't all computers frozen so nothing could be analysed in real time. So get in talk then out again.
I hope no more games are played there during winter, surely it has to be said that it's dangerous, great attempt but really player safety has to be paramount. And no way that pitch was safe.
Wish I could have gone but thems the breaks.
Fair play everyone over there you were well heard!

I could be wrong but I can't see them presenting Brive or Newcastle with serious problems.Borders no.2 wrote: Brive and Newcastle have to go there and it won't be easy get 5
The games will be effectively in a neutral venue, in normal rugby season conditions, with a minuscule crowd and will take place even deeper into Enisei's off-season. I think today was their big chance at points. If they'd drawn Brive for this game they'd have been in with a big shout, but their chances will diminish as the winter wears on.

The official attendance on the EPC rugby website is down as 2500, so much for the sell out. Well done to the supporters who travelled, there'll be some stories to tell no doubt. Well done to the team for getting the job done in such conditions, they'll never be as cold again!

It's 12 degrees in Sochi now. Sunny, with a gentle breeze.
Let's go to Sochi.

Proper Professional performance out there today, thought Peter Robb and Ultan Dillane were brilliant.
AJ was very impressive also

At shortly after 9.30 on a Saturday morning in Siberia Connacht have made history, its apt that it happened in these circumstances.
We move on to Brive next weekend and hopefully another step towards the quarter finals.
