Only reason I'm being negative is that we are ruining a lot of our good work through the same mistakes that have riddled us over the last few weeks. Delighted to be up at half time but unless we get our basics right, we have little chance of capitalising on all our good work.

The commitment, desire and fight from Connacht is brilliant, couldn't ask for more, aside from a win of course

Agree illplaybymyself.

Even the BT guys are giving massive amount of credit to our defence. Yes there are mistakes, be we are forcing mistakes on them.

Good finish from Gloucester off a reversing scrum. The way we are defending we have no business going anywhere near the European Cup.

Good game but we are causing a lot of our own problems at the moment. Gloucester look dangerous in open play.

George in the 2nd row has been used before without much success. Obviously they want a bit more power at scrum time but we are very badly stretched for this one. In all honesty I'd be reluctant to go to the bench at all in this game, maybe Andrew Browne and as a bit of a wildcard Shane O'Leary. James Connolly is one for the future but has little experience. We'll have to be ahead at half time to have any chance heading down the home stretch.

IMO it's going to take something special out of the Aki/Henshaw partnership for Connacht to win this game. They've had a fair number of games together now so it would be the perfect time to shine.

If we win, then STHs get a 24 Hour priority window to buy tickets for the home game.
That's a nice reward for your loyalty.
The f***ing Double Gloucester gets a better head start down Cooper's Hill!

Speaking about generous odds, I noticed John Mullholland were offering 25-1 for Connacht to qualify for the Champions Cup. Maybe it just underlines the enormity of the task and is designed to target green eyed Connacht fans but I like those odds.

Gloucester name team.

Invalid consumer key/secret in configuration

5 changes from when we last played them: Purdy in on the wing with Sharples going to fullback, Wood for Murphy at loosehead, and an entirely new back row.

According to Linley McKenzie in today's Irish Times, Marmion is the only concern from last weekend. X-ray was clear but they're waiting on results from MRI scan. She quotes Pat as saying that no-one is returning from the Return to Play group and that anyone's that fit from Academy is on standby.
