Think it's his brother that runs it. Mike may own it but not as involved as his brother in the day to day running of it.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Incidentally, did anybody meet/ see Mike Teague on the Gloucester visit? I spent some time in Teague's bar but no sign of Mike!

Not a great.night overall. Half a game of rugby from us in truth (first half best forgotten), not enough to win a Cup game really.

With my Mod hat on I'm going to ask everyone not to comment/speculate on the Mils situation. No one knows anything really, or else it would have previously been in the public domain already....

On a positive final note.
Hats off to the wonderful Clan who were applauded by Gloucester supporters leaving at the end. It was a privilege to be amongst you...

So Mils has been arrested on suspicion of an alleged sexual assault in Cardiff in March......

connachtexile, agree with you on taking the kicks at goal. Sure the thinking is you're down 14 what good is 3 points, but if they had 6 on the board when they scored their try they would have only needed a drop goal there at the end for the win rather than a converted try just to force extra time.

We were a little better at the end of the half.

Have to disagree with you here. I though Tiernan was one of our better backs. He came infield looking for work, made ground more regularly than most (backs) and even made a turnover on the ground. Very rare for an outside back! There's a lot of criticism directed at him on this forum and it's not always merited. He's been good since he came back from injury, on current form I'd have him ahead of Darragh for a back three spot (but only just).

Maybe I was a bit harsh on him, and he was quite good in the second half.

Anyone know what Mils has done, I can only assume a verbal altercation with a supporter?

Yeah, Naoupu not even in the original 23 and then comes on and really adds some go forward. Only acceptable explanation would be he was a big doubt before the game but came good at the last minute.

Connacht took too long to get into the game. Needed the first half to more closely resemble the second in order to have had a chance. I hate to pick on Carty but he had some poor moments in the game. Hopefully Ronaldson run out today will set him up to start next time out at outhalf.

Really frustrated. 2nd half shows that Gloucester are a relatively average side. Our only avenue to a try was through the maul though but so many basic mistakes. Pat Lam has a few questions to answer for me. Why was Carty left on for 80 minutes and why didn't George Naoupu start?

I would probably have taken a 7 point defeat at half time but the 2nd half showed what might have been with the right team available. We need Bundee and Ronaldson back in for next week and we might be able to do something.

Don't know if they have the legs to tie this up but if nothing else they have restored some pride in the jersey this second half.
