I assume they need a third scrum half in Dublin in case of another warm-up injury, which would mean he wouldn't be released until Saturday eve if it's him. Half nine flight to Bristol, arrive Llanelli midnight. Start at 12.45pm. I'm not liking those chances. ...
Reddan's fit, and Cooney was recalled to Leinster, which would suggest that Boss isn't being released. Marmion trained with Connacht at the end of last week so would expect him to be released again tomorrow.

I have a bad feeling about this match, hopefully the few weeks rest will bring that little bit of extra energy needed.
Here's hoping that Marmion is released to us. Does anyone know when that might be?

In fairness they need fluent Welsh-speaking assistants as S4C will want to interview them during line-outs

I was worried about who would be reffing this as it will probably be a very tight game. It's Marius Mitrea, which I'm happy about as I think he's developed into a fine ref after a very shaky start. I'm less happy that the 2 assistants and the TMO are all Welsh....

They have been strong at home and have won games minus their internationals at home during November against Glasgow for example.

just been on the scarlets forum to get a sense of where they are at, a few negative comments and defintely they are worried about they're own strength in depth.
for ourselves if we get off to a better start than we did for the Home game then I think we can shade it.
last year the same game the result was 32pts-30pts, we're tougher to beat this year and together with having most of our best players available then it's in our favor but someone needs to ensure Barclay is cleaned out legally at ruck time and up steps Jake Heenan.

EDIT: totally forgot Heenan is back ha. I'd have George on bench and McKeon start at 8
Very little to choose between McKeon and George. It's one position where I'm happy, as long as one is starting, and one is on the bench. Both have plenty of positives, but are different types of number 8s, so if one is left on the bench, his introduction can change the shape of game

John Cooney has been recalled to Leinster Rugby this week.
?!?
News was broken last night. No real details have been announced.
Surprising really. Are Leinster making a point after losing Cooney to Connacht?

If Leader plays 13, it could allow TOH or Niyi on bench
Kearney to partner Roux
[strike]McKeon to play 7
Muldowney and Masterson on bench[/strike]
I'd have Jack over Miah at 10
With Cooney unavailable, it is so important that Marmion is released (unless he miraculously is picked on Irish bench)
EDIT: totally forgot Heenan is back ha. I'd have George on bench and McKeon start at 8
