Romaine only on bench and Gaffney not in squad is a surprise personally, speaking through Connacht tinted glasses

Well I thought you'd hope to develop more than 1 player to this standard from with the connacht schools/clubs system..
Ok, your response leads me to believe that you're just looking for an argument. Not going to bother
Not looking for an argument, just stating a fact.
1 player an age group should be the minimum really.

I didnt realise Westmeath(McVeigh), Laois(Moloney) and London(Romaine) were in Connacht.
Thanks for the geography lesson.
I've never claimed they arent connacht players, but they are not from connacht.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Connacht pursue Carberry, Dwan, O'Connor and maybe Oliver.
I was not giving you a geography lesson.............. no need to be so smart.
They are from Connacht because this is the club and province that they represent. It will be Connacht in brackets after their names in the programme. Where they were born or raised has nothing to do with it.
Did Munster always refer to their famous USA player O'Gara? and do you Leinster boys always refer to Jamie Heaslip as the most famous rugby son of Israel? (They are countries in case you want to look them up in georgraphy lessons !)
O'Gara went to school in America?
Heaslip went to school in Israel?
Oh wait no they didn't, they both grew up and played rugby in Cork/Kildare.
Rory Moloney grew up in Laois and played rugby for Leinster before Connacht, Steven McVeigh grew up in Westmeath and played rugby for Leinster before Connacht, Cian Romaine grew up in London and played rugby there before Connacht.
They are all at Connacht now, but they are not products of the Connacht school/club system, which was my point.
