If you get a taxi from the station to the ground make sure to show them your rugby ticket as otherwise they will bring you to the football ground.
Parma is quiet but it's a lovely place.

Hi Ballboy,
I'd need to do some more research, but I remember last year, that I stayed in a hotel about a 5minutes walk from the ground.
I was able to walk from the hotel to the Train Station in about 20 minutes as well. The station is pretty central, and as far as I remember, there were plenty of taxis around. Just say the stadium name
There is not a lot around the stadium, but you can buy drinks in there. We mostly had tickets for the main stand, and it was a case of sit where ever you like in that stand.
The Zebre people invited us into the club house after too for more pints.
The players were all in there having their after game meal
Good fun, but not a lot to do in Parma

Station to the ground is very easy. In simple terms, out the main door of the station, turn left, down to the end of the street, turn left again, under the railway bridge, straight up about 1 mile, along Via Trento then Via San Leonardo, turn left at big shopping center Centro Torri Srl onto Via del Popolo. Entrance to Stadium is about 200m on the right.
