Two things occurred to me as I read this:
(1) Barmy the Dinosaur compares Connacht Rugby to Sue Pollard, and it's by far the nicest thing he's ever said about us.
(2) Immediately following my usual reaction - "What a ****" - I could hear my father growling "****s are useful" back at me.

In fairness, it's a big improvement on his performance in the Citylink safety video.

Yup...

"What about the poor doggy people?" said the Fianna Fáil councillor.
"Oh to **** with the dogs," opined a councillor of another persuasion, and that was all that was said.

Slow news day :)

So *that's* who took Leighton Hodges' parking space....

The report also showed a shift in behaviours with attendance figures up by 40% since the launch of a new league format in 2014.

I imagine this is about the reporter at the council meeting knowing squat about rugby.
