I might try and get the "View from the Clan Terrace" going again to keep us ticking over.

Hope I haven't jinxed Mighty Mick Kearney.
I posted the first three parts as a season preview last night before you added part 4. It links back to your page anyway.

It would be cool to pull all of that content together into the blogs category.

As the year dragged on, and as the results went south, fewer and fewer articles happened. The biggest issue will be keeping the momentum in the cold dark months when games aren't going the way we want.
However, if there are plenty of people of bloggers (cloggers? clangers?) who'd be willing to allow their blogs/clogs/clangs to be copied on here then that would get the hits flowing.

Droptheclaw wrote: Thanks Pinky (and Shelflife) for the kind words - much appreciated. I tend to do around 10ish articles a year for the other blog, but will have a think about what kind of ones would work here too - as you and Shelf rightly point out, the more the merrier and the message gets spread to a wider field. Can only be a good thing.
(sorry just reposting Droptheclaw's post as it got sawed in half when I was splitting the articles thread from the Hopes and Fears thread - carry on, nothing to see here.

The more the merrier and remember, your opinion is as good as the next mans. The more good writers and well informed writers we have the more that the articles can be retweeted and shared which will spread the word.
Pinky wouldn't mind seeing you blog a bit, maybe a season in rugby through the eyes of a diehard supporter.
there might also be opportunities to write articles for the programme and perhaps for the new Indo pullout.
Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

I think the factfiles were good last season and since a lot of the info can be re-used, if you went into more detail with previous meetings, etc., it'd be a nice bit of content.
Glad you weighed in there Droptheclaw as I read your article and instantly started negotiating with your agent. If you want to write anything for the Clan website, it'd be most welcome.
Phatguerilla I'm looking your way too.
Also anyone else that wants to try their hand at writing articles, we'd love to have them. If anyone wants to give it a lash but doesn't feel their writing skills are up to it, we'd have a few people willing to proofread stuff and iron out the kinks so don't be shy.
I might be suffering from late-night, pre-season overenthusiasm here but I'd like to see a new article going up nearly every day while the season is on, or every weekday anyway.
Something vaguely like.
Mon - Match Report
Tue - Fans reaction piece
Wed - Analysis of prev game
Thu - Factfile
Fri - Match preview
That's quite a bit so the more writers we have the better.
Sign up, it could be your passport to fame and fortune (in another publication that pays you money).

FWIW, I did a short preview of the season, just a 900 word jaunt on another blog I frequent; thanks to the Connacht Clan for sharing it on FBook.
