Highlights here. Nice move for the first try.

Can't believe it's that long since Mul scored a try in the Rabo.

Really impressed with the performance and result yesterday, granted we were playing poor opposition. Pack was superb, we were all over them in the scrum so front row deserves a special mention. It looks like Rodney and Bucks may have put themselves at the top of the pecking order which is well deserved from recent performances. They offer much more in the loose than White and Wilko as well. Was very impressed with Mul and McKeon as well. Let's hope we can keep this going into the next few games when teams have their internationals back. The break is really coming at a bad time for us!

That's great news !! Kearney has really stepped up this season. Glad Aly had a good game. When Pat mentions players in the week leading up to a game they always seem to put in a serious shift. TOH was the same a few weeks back

Had great game although he is more a 8 than a 7 - don't see him challenging Falloon or Heenan but himself and McKeon could have fun duel for next few years for that 8 jersey

Entire pack were dominant but Kearney and Aly deserve special mention, Aly showed why Exeter fans held him so high regard and Mick Kearney got to be in running for our Young Player of Season

A great result and with Zebre beating Cardiff it gives us a good chance and passing them out if we keep on this streak. Strange that we're playing so well with two of our best player out.

Good performance. Treviso were poor but we were clinical and put them to the sword. After a rare bonus point win away from home last week, I don't know when was the last time we had two consecutive bonus point wins in the league (I remember 2 in a row against Rovigo a few years back in the Challenge Cup but can't think of any others off hand) We have taken good advantage of the 6 nations and the league table looks a lot healthier at this stage.

There have been small signs in recent weeks that things are coming together but that has a big asterisk beside it of playing two exceptionally poor sides and you won't get that domination up front against many sides but for tonight well done to all for not letting this season drift into oblivion. Dragons in a few weeks will give us a good idea if we are making genuine progress.

Very good win indeed. Muldoon is having a solid season so it is good to see him score a couple of tries. It's a shame they have to wait three weeks to take on the Dragons. Would hate to see them cool off over the break. Parks still has some life in the old leg.

That was the excuse, not sure how injured he was
Swifty was warming up anyways, we were clearly in trouble

Remember how he "hurt" his shoulder? For some reason he thought he would be better to take a 22 drop out, rather then out half or a back even.

Kearney injured his shoulder against Zebre

This has been the worst game of the season since Treviso joined the league. If they show up like they did, or didn't as the case may be, against the Ospreys it will be equally bad and we'll learn nothing from it.

I'm worried about our second row
Remember earlier this year vs Zebre in Heineken cup at home, Kearney and browne started and basically got pushed around
Kearney got subbed that day after just 18 mins when Swifty came on
I worry today against 2 better locks, not sure how heavy aly is but he doesn't look huge, and with so little game time in the second row, we could be handicapin ourself before kick off which we can't afford

Last week was my first chance to watch Masterson play and have to say I was delighted with his showing for the first 50, I thought he made a very solid contribution for a young lad with not many starts behind him. Good to see Lam stick with him rather than have a bit of reshuffle with the older guys, interesting to note Gorgeous is not listed on the injured list.

Agree with you about Masterson. Would like to see how he does at 6 but not yet. He could be a great asset for us in the coming seasons if he continues to play 7 & 8. That versatility is needed with a small squad.

Hopefully Muldowney got the message and Lam's mentioning him training well is a sign that he has. As you say Borders Connacht are in no position to carry deadwood, it's probably happened to often over the years.

Still amazed by Marmion being ever present since his debut. I know this has coincided with a long term injury to Murphy, but I think it shows that Connacht need a better backup scrumhalf to give him a break over the course of a season.
