Are there any STH/Clan members like me who are now stuck with no ticket after a last minute change in plans? Even if I couldn't get a ticket I would love to watch it with some other Connacht mad heads rather than home on my own! Of course if anyone has a ticket (for anywhere) going I'll take it!

Linley's interview with Ronan Loughney in the Advertiser states flat out that he is starting:

Unusual to report that so confidently prior to team announcement.

We'll be in the Dáil Bar from 3pm Saturday to meet up with the Glasgow fans and calm/exacerbate the nerves with one or two pre-match brews.
Exeter Wasps semi should be on the telly.

Connacht team to face Glasgow Warriors
20th May 2016

Following this morning’s Captain’s Run, Connacht Head Coach Pat Lam named his match day squad to take on Glasgow Warriors in the sold out Guinness PRO12 play-off semi-final tomorrow evening at the Sportsground (Kick Off: 6.30pm – live on SKY Sports, TG4 and BBC Scotland).

Galway man Eoin McKeon comes into the back row and is the only change to the starting XV that played against the same opposition in round 22 a fortnight ago.

John Muldoon captains the side from the base of the scrum in what will be the Portumna man’s 274th game for the province.

The back line remains unchanged with try scorer from the last game Bundee Aki and Ireland international Robbie Henshaw retained in midfield. April Player of the Month Niyi Adeolokun and the league’s top try scorer Matt Healy line out on the wings.

Andrew Browne is brought into the match day squad and joins Sean O’Brien among the replacement forwards.

Commenting on the upcoming game, Pat Lam said:

“We are under no illusions when it comes to the challenge we face against the defending champions Glasgow who are stacked with players with plenty of experience of test match and knock out rugby. We know they will be much stronger than they were two weeks ago but if we channel our physicality and the excitement into our game, we will be able to meet that challenge head on.

“It’s an exciting time for everyone involved in Connacht Rugby as we head into our first ever PRO12 semi-final. The reason we’ve had such a good record at home this season is the special atmosphere generated by our supporters and we’re all looking to give them another special day to remember in our last home game of the season.”

Has Jack Carty gone missing?

Jees when you see the injuries list and add to the fit players not selected the squad looks in great shape doesn't it? I count 7 players that could easily slot into the first 15 without weakening it and another two not far away. Add in ronaldson (thought he should have made the squad ahead of o'leary), carty and roux and it starts to look very healthy for next season.

Maybe he is not fully match sharp since his lay off, ronaldson and roux unlucky to miss out too imo.

I'd say it's just that O Leary has been looking sharper with each passing game whereas Jack has had very little game time since coming back from injury. That and I reckon he's a more accurate goal kicker (probably just jinxed him now). Can't afford to take any chances in a game of such magnitude and probably fine margins.

would have preferred to have Ronaldson in instead of O'Leary, he always looks a bit nervous hopefully AJ will play 70
minutes or so.

not much to choose between McKeion and O'Brien, maybe O'Brien's habit of giving silly penalties away swung it
