Really disappointed for Dennis, he should be heading off on the Summer Tour with Ireland instead of stuck in Galway re-habbing. By the nature of his injury Nathan 's return was always going to be open-ended anyway...

Good to have Finlay & Craig fit to play. If Rodney can put in a repeat of last week (and there should be no reason he shouldn't) I'd be happy enough. I want him smashing their Big carriers, anything else is a bonus...

Happy enough with Mitrea, usually the best ref in the tournament outside NIgel.

We don't have a good record under Marius lately, though I can only recall one controversial game, the TMO-gate loss away to Scarlets in January (which wasn't anything to do with him, Loughs and the TMO will have to square that one away between them).

That's the only league game we had him for this season, last season we had him in the same Scarlets away fixture (loss), the opening day home win over Dragons, and two home losses to Glasgow and Ospreys in the run-in.

Ronaldson might make the cut ahead of Robb or O'Leary...

I remember him well ...

Some poor clearances undo good defensive work, attack builds, then they lose it forward and Connacht have it somehow. Duffy and then Marmion storming up the wing. Lovely flat pass to Henshaw and he's in at a canter. Under the posts. Our posts. Crowd goes mental. Robbie looks up approvingly. Three scores up now and the prospect of victory is all too real. But wait, Marius Mitrea is drawing widescreen TVs in the air with his fingers. It all looks good to me, but the TMO orders popcorn and puts his feet up to enjoy the show. He winds the tape back so far that at one point you can actually see Robbie's umbilical cord. He finds a knock-on somewhere in the car park at the far end. Gutted. It seems like no time before Dusautoir is over and it's like we've let in two tries.

Max was 14 mins x5 plus 20 in the final over the weekend. I think he started each game but was subbed early 2nd half in each.

Upshot is he's fit and raring to go. :)

He is one of my favourite players to watch. Will be hugely missed next season.

OK have cleared some posts regarding sales of tickets/ sourcing tickets out of this thread, there's now two threads for tickets.

One where Season Ticket Holders can arrange Ticket Swaps to try get a ticket in their usual STH location. -
www.connachtclan.com/clan-forum/5-flight...i-final-ticket-swaps

For looking to buy or anyone with excess tickets that want to sell them on here use the below thread (N.B. Tickets can only be offered at Face Value on this site) -
www.connachtclan.com/clan-forum/5-flight...al-available-tickets

This is a general match build up discussion thread only.....

Thanks

So we keep going with Lough/Bealham, J.P/AhYou sub
OR Bealham/AhYou, Lough/J.P sub?

Loughs or McCartney/Bealham, JP/Ah You subs. If Loughney's got any type of arm, shoulder or rib strain I don't think there will be much benefit in playing him, that whole area obviously comes under a load of pressure in the scrum and his opposing prop would try and target it however he could. I had almost given up on McCartney as a viable prop option before last week but he looked like he would be a serious option for this weekend.

was thinking along same lines, Bealham, Heff, McCartney would give us extra go forward and extra defensive options. only drawback is limits options on the bench. certainly if locks is'nt 100% fit

Marius is one of my favorite refs and doesnt seem to carry the same baggage as some of the other refs, only seen him get a decision completely wrong once and that was down to bad communication with TMO.

Hello everyone,

Please do not post on this forum advocating that people take matters into their own hands regarding touts. I'm not sure if there are any official means to redress but this is not the place for it. It would leave us open to all kinds of problems (law-type problems) if we left it up.

The motivation is 100% understandable but all the same we cannot have it here. The offending user has been given a mini-break until tomorrow, and further posts of a similar nature will be dealt with more severely now that you have been warned.
