Connacht take on the Scarlets in Llanelli on Friday September 29th in Connacht's only encounter with the Champions this season.

Looks like a fairly small Connacht presence this time but never too late to muster a crowd.

When: Friday, September 29th, 19.35
Where:  Park y Scarlets, Llanelli

Tickets

Tickets are available online from the Scarlets website. Check the forum to find where people are sitting.

Getting there

Flights from Dublin to Cardiff are available with FlyBE.

To get to Llanelli from the airport, either backtrack into Cardiff and get a direct train from there, or get the shuttle bus to nearby Rhoose and get the train, with a change at Bridgend.

You can also fly to Bristol via the usual routes from Knock and Dublin. If flying from Knock on the Friday afternnoon flight, there's not much room for error getting from Bristol airport to Parc y Scarlets

You can travel by boat via Rosslare. You can get a Sailrail ticket from Rosslare to Llanelli for €41 each way: http://www.stenaline.ie/ferries-to-britain/rail-sail The connections ddon't work out that well given the Friday evening kick-off.

Accommodation

Sessile Oak Hotel (a bit out of town near the Stadium), Miramar hotel, Llanelli Central Travelodge and Queen Victoria Rooms have all been used by various Clan members in the past.

Hospitality

B-9-10 is a nice bar with good beer owned by Stephen Jones and Dwayne Peel. The Kilkenny Cat is a decent pub also. Out at the stadium, the Heart and Soul Bar is worth a visit.

Things to see

Traditionally an industrial town, it has a few attractions, such as Llanelly House and the Millennium Coastal Path.
