An awful pity we didn't kick on from our great start, but at least we held onto the win, now we need to beat Bordeaux, with them out hopefully they'll put out a weak side, if we lose there's a strong possibility we don't make the quarters at all, we'd be hoping that Grenoble beat Benetton as the other fixtures that could put us through are likely walkovers

2 wins should be good enough to be one of the "lucky losers", but that could mean an away QF at Sale / Clermont / La Rochelle. Obviously a 5-1 or 4-0 in MP is needed to take control of the group.

The bookies have Connacht 3 point favourites which is basically factoring in the home advantage. They see it as a even contest.

I think that's just 3 changes for Sale from the team that won the last three games. 10,11 and second row.

Genuinely can't call this game. They had a good go at us in the away fixture, but given their position in the Prem at that stage they really had nothing to lose. They're flying high (higher, anyway) in the Prem now, so maybe their concentration will be fully on that competition now. That said, they no doubt want to qualify for Champions Cup next year.

I have to think that Friend is going to put a full (or as near full) strength team out for this one? That said, the younger "European" team (if you know what I mean) has done a great job, so maybe stick with them?

So hard to call!
