The Dáil Bar already sponsor Connacht prop Brett Wilkinson, and are keen to get behind Connacht Rugby even more by supporting the Connacht Rugby Supporters Club. Several pubs in the same group of businesses in Galway are also involved in supporting Connacht Rugby: The Front Door sponsor Galwegians and John Muldoon; Sheridan's in Knocknacarra sponsor Swifty and run buses to and from games; Blake's Bar sponsor Ronan Loughney. These venues are 100% behind local rugby, and the Connacht Clan are proud to be able to partner with them going forward.

In recent years the Connacht Clan has organised some events for bigger games, usually around inter-pros and HC matches. However, as part of our sponsorship with The Dáil Bar we will be aiming to have a base upstairs for every away game this season. For those who don't know The Dáil Bar, the upstairs area can fit a large number of people, there's easy access to the bar, food (from nibbles up to full on feeds) served until late and, very importantly, two SIXTY inch HD screens.
