You need to give access to my gmail account to view your spreadsheet, I'll copy across the formatting if you want.
This forum only allows you to upload certain file formats (not .docs or .xls unfortunately) , says you can upload .pdf's but I've only been able to upload screenshots saved as .jpegs..

Never saw the incident, but shocked by the outcome!
I'm not shocked at all. I'm happy common sense has prevailed. As was pointed out on another thread, the guy who Macca was having handbags with at the time came out and said that as far as he was concerned, no contact was made with his "eye area". Fingers crosses Mike gets the call up now, and makes the most of it.

This is what annoys me about the current situation. Leaving your hands on someones face, and accidentally brushing against their eyes is completely different to intentionally gouging. I personally think anyone caught gouging should have the book thrown at them, but a minimum ban of 12 weeks for "contact with the eye area" is ridiculous in my opinion.
Do you mean to lenient or too harsh?
I've never been gouged personally but I've been punched to the head a few times in games and fishhooked (once) over the years on the rugby pitch.
Never had anyone go for my eyes thank f*ck, but the punishments for doing so deliberately or accidently should be absolutely prohibitive which they clearly aren't at the moment because we still see guys who's livelihood depends on them being able to play still getting caught.
In some cases I think it's way too harsh. Don't get me wrong - if a guy intentionally gouges, then he should get a crazy long ban. But if two lads are pushing and shoving, and some fingers happen to glance across the face by accident, that's not worthy of a ban in my opinion. I haven't seen the replay of this case, but I remember it pretty well, and the guy from the Glasgow team was perfectly happy to shake hands with Macca on the pitch. To my mind, what the Clermont player was doing to Leo Cullen towards the end of their recent semi final was WAY worse. No citing in that case to the best of my knowledge. I suppose to summarise, I think some common sense needs to be applied.
It seems Macca was cleared - all's well that ends well

The 12 week minimum was already there, but disciplinary panels weren't enforcing it.
That makes it even worse!

Common sense and Rugby usually are estranged bedfellows.
To get off topic for a moment. Does it ever bother people that something heinous usually has to happen to a player on the British and Irish Lions for laws to change regrading penalties? The IRB only brought in the law about spear-tacking after the BOD incident in NZ (in which the persecutors got off.) And the IRB brought in the minimum of a 12 week ban after the Fitzgerald eye-gouging incident in South Africa when Burger got 8 weeks for nearly ripping Fitzgerald's eye out. It annoys me that something horrible has to happen to a Lion before the IRB get there heads out of their asses and do something.
