I agree... NOC is too flat.

The other problem is that we have no shape in attack. Our best moves are ad-hoc free-running when our players are just going with the flow. As soon as we are up against an organised defense there are no ideas about how to break them down.

If the ref isn't picking up on it, you don't moan about it, you follow suit.

Vainikolo got tied in two by a bounce. Just bad luck it happened in the in goal. When Jarvis came on he looked better. We're a better team all round when Jarvis gets the backs moving.

Watching the re run of this on Setanta, haven't seen it yet.

Munster got away with murder at every ruck, hands in left right and centre, side entries, players not rolling away. It was a disgrace that Phillips let it go for so long and even after O Callaghan got a yellow, he came back on and continued to do the same thing all over again without penalising him. Micko spent most of the game offside, and some of Ronan's entries and angles contesting the ball at the breakdown were so ridiculous it was comical. Philips overruled the touch judge at one stage after the ball was brought back into the 22 and Keatley kicked it out on the full. More crazy stuff, must have been terribly frustrating for the Connacht lads.

We were very lacklustre, but ultimately, if O Connor didn't miss some of them easy kicks and without Vainikolo's brainfart we would have been well in the game, regardless of how poor we were. Phillips officiating certainly tipped the scales as well. Shocking

Very, very disappointing performance as usual in Thomond, we just never seem to turn up there. Niall O'Connor and Vainikolo are liabilities at this stage, Ah You as well. I dread seeing Loughney go off as the scrum is a write-off when he's not playing. We looked so insipid and listless, particularly second half, that's it's genuinely worrying what Leinster will do to us if they bring a full team - which is unlikely if anyone on their coaching staff saw the game. I don't agree our season is over being only 5 points behind Ulster but we are obviously in a very serious rut at the moment and it's hard to see a way out.

Completely and utterly toothless stuff

If we were there now we still wouldn't have scored a try

It's getting beyond a problem now. Something needs to be done.

Attack coach? Very little evidence of it

Amen to that, they made TOL look like he should be wearing the Green #9 jersey and I do not mean a Connacht one.

what a load of Shite, I can see 60 points been put past us next weekend at this rate. You see the likes of Macca, Ethienne, George et al working their socks off chasing down wingers trying to break out of our 22 fighting for every inch of the pitch and then you see NOC miss after miss in front of the posts and you say to yourself what the hell is the point. A lot of players held there hands up but this doing a Sean O Brien thing and butchering overlaps is catching, McSharry needs to learn how to pass so does JOC(worst offender) Griffin, Fetu two mistakes aside was well worth watching, he tracks back he has speed he can tackle he can break tackles he -_-s tacklers in he looks for off loads(no one there mind you) he covers the other wing and he gets involved but they don't pass the fecking ball to him as they are too busy butchering it. That was a shite Munster team, in fact this year Munster are shite but we made them look good. The game management and tactics we use do not work its plain to see, they don't work 11 defeats in a row tell us that, the three wins we had were lucky as we played crap so EE if you are reading this cut the bull talk cut the spin, put up or shut up as its soul destroying watching your failed tactics week in week out with the same crap result.

I hope Ethienne doesn't mind me saying it but that was an abysmal performance. While there may be some coaching going into the defence, there seems to be no clue in attack. There are some talented players there but they don't seem to be coached to play as a team. Very disappointing.

Gettin tiring now isn't it. Can't fault the effort at all but has to be one of the poorest Connacht squads ever.

That vanikolo is useless. Proper useless.

At least half that squad are not good enough for the level required.

Feel for the older guys Muldoon and joc etc trying their hardest as always.

Ref was woeful too.

A poor game from both sides really with Munster able to capitalise on Connacht mistakes and Connacht bereft of ideas whenever they got the ball in the Munster half. The ref was also poor, but in the end had no affect on deciding the winner. There were some good performances from Connacht but unless they get them from 1-15 and from start to finish, it obviously won't amount to anything.

24-9 ft. Denis Fogarty, 4th choice Munster hooker as motm sums it all up. John Hayes' retirement the only notable thing from that game.

Time for all involved in Irish and Connacht Rugby to take account of the situation. In its present state Connacht can contribute little to Irish Rugby. The likes of O'Halloran, McSharry, Griffin etc. can't improve much more in this setup.

Also I don't want to read any patronising drivel during the week from players who can't walk the walk on the pitch.

Hopefully watching this Schmidt will feel he can give fringe players some game time on New Years Day, save us a hiding.

:(

11 losses in a row, now. Sickening.

One begins to wonder if there is a win anywhere on the fixtures list for the remainder of this season. You can talk about youth, "hard luck," and how much every referee hates Connacht all you want...but in the end, we're just a very, very poor squad at this point. No sense in denying that which is plainly obvious.

all connacht for 15mins jarvis was on.
only had one shot at goal but by then it was to late so went down the line. jarvis is a great passer. kicked 0 times. mick o driscoll is brain dead. never listed to the ref and looked confused.
