I agree with Dobby we should sign Larmour to play in our back row

It was a second string team against an almost full strength Munster side away from home...

No more than any sport you cant simply choose when you are going to turn up unless you truly are amateurs. Think it is high time Connacht stopped paying under-performing players with over the top wages. There is nobody in Connacht being paid less than Larmour. And he does happen to be miles ahead of any one of our back-row. But not even that, you look at the intensity Leinster bring each week and then you look at the damp squib that is Connacht. All I have to say is zero because honestly what is the point

want, will, desire, you can call it what you want connemara man. But one thing is that it most definitely is not professional. Week in, week out its just a bunch of players deciding which game they will turn up for. And that is just amateur

We have to let this fascination with the referees go, Wilkinson was pretty much the same for both teams . We got away with a lot and they got away with a lot, if all depends on what tint the glasses you are wearing has.

The try was for me a 50:50 call benefit of the doubt in that case will always go to the attacking team.

Always remember that the decision you want and the correct decision are not necessarily the same thing.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Please explain the difference to me Connemara man. Best performance all year against Leinster followed by this muck. Bar butler I fail to see a professional among them

If the desire was not there then how do you explain the last try? The lack of game time for the combinations on the pitch last was ruthlessly shown up by Munster when they pinned us in and got their tries in the second half. Multiple substitutions changed things and we snuck a try back. Perhaps Munsters internationals had more desire but we were unable to cope with the pressure in the second half as exemplified by Muls penalty at the ruck and Quinn's yellow card. Probably too much heart and not enough head for a second time this week.

Week on week Leinster perform. Week on week with Connacht its anybody's guess as to who will turn up.

I have said from the beginning , Europe is where the 100% full focus needs to be. No where else. That's fact.

Most disappointing is that we are second rate. And thats very hard to swallow. What bugged me about the game was shown by the Zebre game. The desire was not there. And it wasnt there last night eiher. And you dont teach desire.

Was down in a cold thomond . We did too much kicking with nothing gained from it.. I thought Quinn was really lucky just to get away with a yellow. Blade played well.

Borders no.2 wrote: For me the bigger disappointment today was the Ospreys v Cardiff result. Ospreys getting 5 and then carelessly letting Cardiff pick up a losing bonus point. We can park the league there for the moment but we need to win a minimum 4 of the the next 5 in my view (3 home games and Treviso) and a number of bonus points to give us any chance in the league. Being blunt about it you can't afford to lose to Dragons, Zebre and Cardiff x 2 and expect to achieve anything in the league.

Maybe I'm mistaken but to me it looks like both Cardiff and Spreys only scored 3 tries? Annoying that they let Cardiff back into it to pick up the LBP alright. EDIT: never mind, I'm blind.

You're right about the earlier losses in the league season. But if our first team keeps playing like they are then next year could be a cracking season. With 16-20 more points we'd be in a similar position to Munster in the league conference... not bad going.

I wasnt in the slightest bit surprised to see ulster torn apart earlier. But to see connacht torn apart like that. As Borders suggests we have an amount of players.

Was disappointed with the team named but thought we were naive to let Munster back into the game after the first few minutes. The referee was inconsistent but we never broke free and kept his influence to a minimum. Tough night for some young players who deserved better. Inconsistency in refereeing left us consistently on the back foot. Lambs to the slaughter really. It's the hope that kills you in the end.
