A French guy came up to us after the match and ask how many of us were over at the match. My dad said about 300........ French guy "it sound like there is way more than 300 of you here"
BEST WEEKEND AWAY EVER!

I had to replay that a few times because when I saw it I couldn't believe it and needed to find out who did it. Ultan Dillane. Are you good or what?
His speed is the key, gave him the time to get fully around in front of the maul and target the hit. Great piece of work....

Sob is simply playing out of his skin and beating what is put in front of him. And they are normally internationals. What a season for him.connemara man wrote: Sean O Brien 2.0 is on the fair side to give him his dues

Actually, funny story, in my original interpretation of the stadium map, that barrier beside you was a set of steps. That's why I situated myself so conveniently close to it. However in the interim, they seem to have rebuilt the stadium with the steps on the other side, hence our mutual inconvenience.menacethedenis wrote: Might be best not to seat me directly beside the home fans next time. I mainly just did the seating plan (I'm available for weddings Banm).

It was RoofS that did most of the heavy lifting on the tickets front.

Our seats were excellent (thanks Pinky et al) and it really highlighted again the importance of coordinating seating for away trips so that we're all together, Maybe 200-300 of us in the ground, but on the BT coverage it really does sound like a lot more...
Two thumbs up for that. A stadium like that would be awesome down by the docks. Would really take Connacht (and Galway city) up a level.
Great seats as well. I kinda assumed we would be at the end of the stadium but seats were great.

We were over on the side of the ground, and while the seats were perfect, I would have rather been sitting with all of you. Could hear you all game long. We tried to make some noise on the other side, but can't imagine it competed with ye at all.

We could only dream of similar facilities!!!
Stadium was great, not too far from town centre (easily walkable) , has great views of the Alps so the Walls And Roof's are like the Aviva (made of Glass panels) so in daytime games you can get views of the Alps from the seats (shame it was a late kickoff..).

Stay away from the €22 burgers!! They're awful & served with a few oily crisps!eezipc wrote: Just a thought. I'm sitting in Geneva airport now waiting for Aer Lingus to get its act together.
There are a few other Connacht folk on the same flight. Some I know and some I only recognise from the weekend. .....
I stayed well away and also stayed away from the water. A bottle of water was €4. :woohoo:
Anyway, on a side note. I was looking at attendances over the weekend. Grenoble and Connacht have done themselves proud.
