I see some munster fans are now trying to steal the idea saying they will start it next season. Don't let them be first.

I hope you guys will claim supporter intellectual property rights to the boom boom clap style chant now over the munsterfans trying to use it now. They tried to steal the fields already

I believe they're currently rewriting that song to reflect the current situation in the Debt Star._nobody_ wrote: Maybe we should do what has been done for years and take the weakers province songs.

Get one very simple thing like the boom boom clap established first, everyone no matter what age can easily participate in it, then introduce other things later. The announcer simply has to tell the crowd to follow Eddie the Eagle as a way to create a build up atmosphere. It's made for us we are the emerald province
People are trying to run before they can walk with complicated lines that not many will know and kids certainly won't.
Personally I thought Argentinas chants are amazing, if we could appropriate a similar chant with the word Vamos (Go) like Argentina and Japan do it would be cool.

Sounds like a job for the Saw Doctors.
Or Michel Sardou.
Wait, he's already done it, what a pro!

I think it is starting to rub off on people as well. I noticed alot of people singing it on Saturday and the two tenors got a great reception.
However, I don't think the two tenors are doing it justice.
The last four lines are supposed to be sung with passion and pride.
But hark, a voice like thunder spake
The West’s awake, the West’s awake
Sing oh, Hurrah, let England quake
We’ll watch till death for Erin’s (or Connachts) sake
So it should be really belted out. Then the last line should leave an impression.
The tenors sing "for Connachts sake" three times at the end which really gets to me and not in a good way.

Anyone else think the atmosphere was a bit muted last night? Could just have been me but I thought it was a little quiet for such a big game
I couldn't make game this weekend so watched on Tv and thought the crowd sounded class. The noise was savage in second half and I txt my mate to say think I missed the best atmosphere this year!
It was great.
Other times though I know i've felt the crowd are so on edge/ nervous that it's hard to get shouting etc, stress levels too high!

A "singing" section seems like a decent and practical idea
The #SeaOfGreen also seems good idea for Leinster game- green wigs and green balloons galore
If we had a seating area we could arrange for a "tifo choreography"- but it be way to hard to arrange in a terrace as be all jumbled up

I like that "boom boom clap" thing - we already have drummers at the games. The problem is getting something like that established. And it essentially boils down to cheerleaders (steady on). I remember going to leinster senior cup games as a kid and the atmosphere they generate is fantastic. The chants are all led by a couple of lads with megaphones (and confidence). As well as a cheerleader or two, you'd need a group of fans together that are committed to taking part. The rest of the stand will just learn by joining in.
