Any page that starts with "loading" & a percentage counter is done for. It has all the hallmarks of been done by a company overloaded with graphic designers (have experience of this) and if there are issues with different browsers then there UAT testing was exceptionally poor.
I wouldn't be overly concerned though, if Alex Saul is monitoring there analytics (if there not, its unforgivable)then it should become apparent very soon if there are major issues or just a few.

I'm in two minds about the site, it does have all the most recent info immediately available which I like, on the other hand Nathan White is trying to steal my dreams in the right hand corner.
Its very bouncy to the point where the lineout jumper (heenan? browne?) can catch the ball if you scroll the right speed. Dunno if that appeals to some or not. Actually there's even more of those 3d graphics which I imagine is partly why its so slow to load.
Personally I like to see the player stats and be able to compare them, the Leinster site is the best for this as you can click multiple players and compare side by side I believe. The squad pages are interesting but I'd prefer a breakdown of the appearances/minutes and such like other teams have.
TLDR mixed bag I guess.

I've had no issues with the website not loading since it went live. I'm not saying it doesnt happen, but I haven't seen it. I will agree it's slow. As i said, 6 seconds for me, and I think that's poor

Edit:
Over fibre in the office using FF 17 ESR - won't load. On IE 8 (same connection, laptop) loads in <15 seconds. On Chrome on my Android phone, over a phone signal (not wifi) it loads in
seconds.Looks like a browser thing.

On average it has taken about 1m 40s for the site to load initially. When you finally get in the navigation is terrible. I don't want to see flashy image scrolling making me dizzy - I want to see the information I'm looking for. Searched in vain yesterday for the Eagles fixtures. May well be there hidden among the dross. Found them in seconds on Irish Rugby. Overall - not fit for purpose.
I'm sorry, but I'm calling bullshit on this.
I decided to test the website myself.
It's slow to open, yes. It took 6 seconds, so either you have a poor internet connection, or a dodgy watch
With regards to finding the Eagles fixtures, they were simple to find. I clicked Match Centre - Eagles Fixtures.
I dont know what category you expect to find them under, but for me, they are exactly where I'd expect to find them.
So many people on here love to complain

Click on a news item and you're scrolled down to a news section. Click back and you're not back to where you started. Navigation 101, guys.
Scrolling down the page is not well calculated. I'm sure they had a great idea for sections, but in Chrome at least it doesn't work. At all.
Clicking on the Topic links for "Ticket", "News", "TV" etc works well. It's as if they expect people to only click on those links instead of scrolling. Very poorly thought out.
On the whole all mouth and no trousers.

The mobile version is cool too, although if you are using it on a tablet and want to use the desktop version it is quite hefty.

No, it's still there. Once you get familiar with the new layout you'll find it...
Click on "About" and there's a Tab for Supporters Club....
Got it thanks. Moan withdrawn.
