Borders no.2 wrote: 16-10 at full time. Well done lads. 2 out of 3 is a good campaign.
Very good return, great spirit in the team both last week and this week from what I saw, despite 3 yellow cards and about 13 minutes of extra time, they Held on for a great victory. Great try and wonderful place kicking from the tee set them up well. The defensive effort was terrific at times. Leinster drew with Ulster tonight so no slam in the 20's.
I believe it finished Leinster, Connacht, Ulster and Munster in the league...... Well done

If it's 4.45 I might swing by for second half.

Shelflife wrote: Sorry seemingly there were no reds and two yellows, took it from another site so at the moment im not even sure of the score or how many cards there were.
not sure why anyone would post misinformation about an u 20s game.
Apparently they two yellows were for ex Roscrea lads Moloney and O'Brien, for roughing up Oisin Heffernan, their Roscrea team mate from last year, meaning they had to play with 13. Not sure how true the story is but....

we were much the better team, ulster scored a late try 2 mins from time.
line out was good
scrum was great, push ulster of there own ball few time
12 Andrew McAleer and 8 SOB my man of the match with good kicking from sean o hagan, missed one, got 5?
McAleer is a powerful runner, went of injured and came on again.
we were the better side but few missed tackle made it a close game
very enjoyable in a heated sun! biggest crowd ive seen at an under 20's or even eagles game.
ps, were lucky we have SOB in the lineout because our lock, 5 shane boyle is massive. nobody could lift him, another ginger player
also flanker Rory Moloney was great
