Connacht, the second half team. Few facts.
In 22 league games, we have kept teams scoreless 9 times in the second half.
In 7 Challenge cup games, we've kept the other team scoreless twice. (La Rochelle away and Gloucester)
Pro12 (22games) We have won 13 second halfs, drew 1 lost 8. 13x4=52+1draw+2try bonus+3losing bonus points=59 points
Challenge cup (7 games) We have won 5 second halfs and lost 2 (both vs Exeter)
In the league we've scored 279 second half points and only letting in 177.
Challenge cup its 99 scored, 66 against

Now that you mention it, didn't the MC promise him a start at 10 in the next game if he got the ball over? A deal's a deal!

Such a strange match. The proverbial game of two halves. There was definitely an end of season feel afterwards with the on-pitch interviews and all the player departures (where was Mils??), so lets hope they can get themselves in the right mindset for Sunday. The less said about the first half the better but if we play like we did in the second half we have more than a good chance against Glaws I think. Maybe Pat can give his half-time talk before the match?

If we had completed the comeback and beaten the Ospreys on Saturday, we wouldn't have been too impressed with this lad...

The Craggy Island crew were not the happiest chappies after that first half in particular - we only got the losing bonus because Ospreys were desperate to get one themselves and mucked it up.

All the same, best 22 game league season ever, with a young inexperienced squad, most of whom have been retained and should develop and grow from here.

Rob got the new podcast out that night, so if someone could post it on the site it would be much appreciated.

Great 2nd half and very impressed we got back to have a LBP.

But seriously, how poor we were in the 1st 30 minutes, Am I correct that their 3 tries all came from us losing possession?

Anyways, not to worry as again, Leinster have done us a favour.

We have nothing to loose next week. No one will give us a chance. Looking forward to it.

The main point is now : will we have Ronaldson, Poolman and Loughney back?
If so, the 23 players should be close to our best squad

In the end happy enough, a strong 2nd half display got us a losing bonus point to finish on 50 points and secure 7th. We will have to improve majorly defensively if we are to have any chance against Gloucester. Once again it was all too easy for the Ospreys to walk in 3 first half tries. In the end though they paid the price for trying to run down the clock in the 2nd half as they got their pocket picked for the home semi-final and with that probably went their hopes of winning the league.

We really needed the wind in the first half but we were well back in it at 13-24 and in their 22 with lots of time left but we lost that chance and in the end we were lucky enough to lose by only 4. It wouldn't have made any difference in terms of the league to snatch it at the end and would have been unfair on the Ospreys but in the end it was Ospreys who were the big losers of the day.

We need more from our centres next week. I think we have to start with George at 8. The messing around at the back of the scrum cost us once again.

Leinster did us a favour but we have given Munster a real shot at the league by Ospreys not getting that bonus point.

i see Gloucester sent a B team to play Bath today, going to very difficult for us to get a reult over there.

I was disaappointed again today with our midfield, bundee doesnt have the ability to distribute the ball and doesn't get over the gain line enough for me

The draw was tricky for the least, but even in Gloucester, we have a little chance to win it!
TOH and Carr were ok
A bit disappointed by McKeon and the centre pairing
Muldowney absolutely great
