2 of us going over alright. Flying from Shannon Friday afternoon, back Sunday evening. Staying at Hotel President near Russell Square and the British Museum. Close to the tube anyway.
Have never been before - where in the ground will the Clan get tickets for?

Still up in the Air on this trip. With Ulster away the next week I was going to choose 1 of these trips to go to......
I'll probably book both while pissed in HQ on Friday night
Isn't that right @Sean74, how many trips have we booked while pissed in HQ

I booked a place in Chester. Will get Friday afternoon boat to Holyhead and day trip it on Saturday.
However I may end up cancelling that as it is probably a silly plan even by Pinky standards. Good deal though in hotel of unpinkylike fanciness.
Hard to assemble a crowd in London though. The Claddagh Ring in Hendon is the obvious spot for immediately post-match, but with the early game, punters will inevitably disperse ...

East unreserved standing sounds good to me. Easy access to post match celebrations if we win, easy access to and from bar if it becomes apparent that we won't.

I think thats the spot, they're only showing 180 odd tickets left for there, so we should buy soon

There appears to be Engineering work scheduled for the Holyhead line that weekend so I might try out one of these flying machines I have read about.
Late flight to Luton from Dublin Friday night and stay in the airport Ibis. Handy enough to Mill Hill Broadway from there.
This is my fourth known plan. By kickoff I will doubtless be on plan 7, which is located on Forster St.

rail sail via Fishguard won't work with night travel, but if you get the morning ferry from Rosslare will work on Friday. You have the problem of getting to Rosslare, and I can't offer you a lift this time, to ferry port.
National Rail website isn't showing works on Friday 15th or on Saturday 16th.
There is a bus rather than train on some late night trains from Euston to Holyhead, between Llandudno and Holyhead, but it's roughly same duration as the local train, and is covered by your train/ferry ticket.
RailSail to Dublin 60stg, walkup fare, London to Holyhead : 85stg in advance.

Going to London via Rosslare would be circuitous even by Pinky standards

direct train from Swansea to Paddington, it's a little slower than Dublin, and harder to get to Rosslare, but it's not that bad. I've done it a few times.pinky wrote: Going to London via Rosslare would be circuitous even by Pinky standards
I'm planning on bringing car to Cardiff game in new year, stay tuned for that.
