Rugby Union Rules

Hi All
Myself and my better half are all round sports fans, but Rugby is the one we love.
We know a good few of the basic rules, but would love to know the game better in order to have good chat with other like minded rugby fans.
Is there a site that explains the rules in lay mans terms without getting too over complicated.
Thanks for any response.

Put up a couple of links there but no idea why they are not showing!
Just googled rugby rules. Lots of good sites came up.

Often it is very helpful to tune into the ref radio and listen to his calls. It can really help a lot.

First rule is they're not called rules, they're called laws.
And for some reason you're supposed to get all upset if someone calls them rules. I think it's against the laws. I was arrested for it once.

A man was once killed for calling a Touch Judge a linesman. Lenient, I'd say.

Here lies, Sol_ie, he made the fatal mistake of calling the Assistant Ref a touch judge.
Anyway, irblaws.com is your first stop for everything in rugby laws and I also recommend lurking on the rugbyrefs.com forum, some very good discussions break out occasionally.
