At least until the end of January, no food or drink can be served in stadiums, owing to the covid situation here. Also, a surgical mask must be worn inside the stadium.
NB There will be three checks at the stadium; first for vaccine pass, second for ticket (automatic), and third, a security check to make sure you're not taking anything illegal into the game. It all works efficiently, which is unusual for Paris.

Chance it! The worst that could happen is that they ask you to finish it before entering the ground!Mac65 wrote: Are hip flasks classified as "illegal"

Good luck to everyone travelling!
Make sure you have surgical masks and your entry papers in order.
The stadium is easy to get to: it's in the 16th district on metro lines 9 (stops Michel-Ange Molitor or Exelmans) and 10 (Porte d'Auteuil).
Stade Jean Bouin is about five minutes walk from each. Follow signs for PSG Parc des Princes (they share the same location and the PSG superstore is in the rugby stadium). The Viaduc bar is close to Molitor and worth a stop before the game.
There are lots of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhoood if you want to eat or drink after the game but it's not the liveliest part of the city.
Bon voyage!

12 oz of good decent single malt Irish whiskey.
I'll be standing at security for a while

You'll be in good company though

(Of course I'll bring my own shot glass for the times that are in it)

Thinking of pulling the trigger and hopping on the train for the weekend.
Any idea of the 5k attendance limit?
Could they just cancel some tickets over the next few days, depending on French government announcement on expanding attendance etc.?

I’d be fairly confident they’ve only sold 5000 tickets.. stadium capacity is 20,000 and it looks like they barely sell any!

Government extended the 5000 limit by another two weeks earlier today. Stade average 11,300 a game and I very much doubt if a third of that amount will show up on Sunday. Paris supporters have no interest in European rugby.
