Be sure and give it a prominent position on the FB page. The visit to Thomond should be enough to encourage a load to sign-up. Brilliant value

Done.
Great deal for the Munster game but about six of us jumped the gun a few weeks back & got our tickets early Well done to all involved. The information available on the website & forum alone is worth the €10. Onwards & Upwards

Would it be worth exploring the idea of linking it as an add-on option when purchasing / renewing a Season ticket. Something like once the person has selected the ticket type, be it renewal or new ST, a panel below gives a brief description of the Clan & an Opt in box if they wish to join up.
It may be a good way of creating a larger Clan membership base & turning the 1,000 'Unofficial' facebook likes into 'Official' Clan members in a quicker time period. Just a thought.

We're already on it, watch this space

Signed up. Fair play to all involved. Im sure a serious amount of work has gone in to get it this far but after the Clan kind of bubbling under the surface for a few years this should help ensure it won't go the way of the old supporters club and can have a big future. The resources here in relation to match travel etc. are fantastic and even if its only to get co-ordinated support together for away games it'll be a major positive. Hopefully the branch don't give it lip service and row in behind it. €10 is about right for starting out.

Sire De Grugy did me no favours yesterday, but I've signed up anyway.
Spend enough time on here, that the fee is well worth it, even before any extras.
Good work lads

Done. And more than happy to. Fair play to all who make the CC happen, it's a great resource and it's fantastic to see so many take part in it. There's a nice symmetry to the CC and Connacht's trajectory; let's hope both keep moving in the right direction.
Cheers lads

There are rumours that Sire De Grugy is just a bunch of cats taped together.

Any feedback on the whole sign-up process? Anything that could be improved with the flow or with the email notifications or anything?
We kept the initial launch fairly low key deliberately as we wanted to make sure there were no major issues with the process and iron out any kinks before we do a full launch.
When we do that you will be able to register for the site and pay the membership fee in one go, rather than register for the forum first and then join, so that should make it easier for people who are not already on the forum.
But if we have complete newbies signing up, it's important that the whole thing goes as smoothly as possible, so any issues you spot, let us know. Cheers.

All signed up. Can't take advantage of the Munster trip as I'm over on the other side but happy to help out.

When I clicked on the link to sign up, the first name was pre-populated with my handle - I'm wondering if that might confuse some? It would make more sense to me if it was just empty. Most people's handles bare no resemblance to their name anyway.

I think it populates with whatever your name is currently set to. In the old days, your real name appeared on your profile so anyone could see it, so a lot of people just changed their name to be the same as their login if they didn't want their real name displayed publicly, so I'd say that's what happened there. For completely new users, it will be blank.
