Hi all!
The Clan will be meeting up in the Dail Bar this coming sunday at 3 p.m. to watch the Dragons v. Connacht match.
But, I hear you ask, how can this be? "I've checked my RTE Guide twice, and the National Broadcaster has decided not to show it!", you say! Now, I'm usually very slow to disclose Clan secrets, but let's just say it's got something to do with 'streaming video' and 'the internet'.
The method might be a bit unproven, but we're hoping we'll be able to get everything 100% on the day. We hope to see ye there!!

It's on Beeb Wales, so would the Dail not have that somewhere on their satellite box in a bit better quality?

Exactly pinky. You can just tune in the channel on the sky box. No need for streams and all that

That said, if they have UPC, that might not be an option.
Either way, I'll be there. Whatever the mode of transmission, it'll be lot better than what's in my living room.

The dail would have sky over upc so they could use the red button for sport
I'm slightly hungover but I should be in, probably my usual 10 mins late

For the record, S4P chose comfort over the match. Shame, shame.
Going forward, we know that the dail can get BBC Scotland and Wales. Hope to see ye all next week!!

While RTÉ may do pitch side interviews - BBC Wales have on field interviews, very innovative technique

Everytime their front row popped up I expected their hooker to have a mic in hand ready to ask Rodney some questions. Oddest thing I've seen in a while!

S4C coverage of the Rabo is even better value. Main commentary is in Welsh, the alternate track in English is 3 or 4 ex-players from the amateur era talking sh1te while belting into the port and brandies.
