Evening all.

We've gotten word that Heineken will be running a Heineken Cup night in the Dail Bar on Wednesday, 11th December from 7-9pm. The event will be chaired by Ollie Turner and Clan Contributor Rob Murphy. I'm told that there will be giveaways, including the chance to place kick on the Sportsground pitch before the Zebre game in Jan, match tickets and loads more.

Tickets are apparently very limited, so contact connacht@heinekenmail.ie to reserve your seat/stool!!

Coming to G-Town for the Toulouse game but won't be around before the Friday sadly, otherwise would definitely be up for it. (If only to get to ask Rob something innane or embarrassing.. ;) )

Fingers crossed we do alright this weekend, so at least there'll be some optimism. Otherwise it could be a dour auld night...

Update with some more details on this event. I'm told it might be tough at this stage to get in, but you never know.

WHAT: Heineken Get in the Game evening with Connacht players
WHERE: The Dáil Bar, Galway
WHEN: Wednesday, December 11th, 6.30pm
INFO: Connacht rugby players including John Muldoon will be appearing on the night to talk all things Heineken Cup, including the big Sportsground clash with Toulouse. Tickets for the game will be given away, and also a top prize whereby two people will kick off against eachother on The Sportsground pitch next month, at halftime during a match. Galway Bay FM are hosting the night and will be broadcasting the entire thing as a prerecord on Friday next week.


EDIT: We've been able to agree that a certain number of spaces will be held for Clan Members, so if you're interested post here.

I actually got tickets through the draw today, not sure if you had me down on the Clan list but you can give my spots to someone else if they're needed
