No Super Rugby contract for Sevu Reece despite being one of the standout player in the Mitre 10.
Pity for the lad, hope he gets a contract somewhere.

New competition introduced to replace the B&I Cup I think?
Jake has started Bristol's last few games in it iirc.

Its what replaces the Anglo-Welsh Cup for English clubs. Basically reinstating a Premiership only English Cup.....

But there is restrictions on players, gives squad players games and I think will run during international periods.

I don't believe there are any specific player restrictions, but it is a domestic Cup Comp and is down the list of importance to League & HEC so added to International callups many clubs will rest first line players and blood development players and run out players coming back from injury (like Aly last night). Not clear though what flexibility clubs have in respect of squads name, if they can beef them up as final knockout games approach in March...

Cian Romaine has signed for Leeds Carnegie until the end of season. They’ve signed 6 players in last month. Unsure if they got a big injury list?!
Wish Cian the best for the season

Cannon is only 30, blindside flanker is a position we don't need anyone too... can't see Romaine how could come back until 2020

If they're relagated, would'nt it be nice to sign back an IQ TH, as Bealham isn't available all the time (for example we'll miss this week-end)...

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Hell no, I can think of IQ THs at Agen, Ealing and Richmond I'd give a 1+1 deal to (like when we gave Carey a try-out) before I'd have him back.

Ryan in Agen is way too old to risk a sign now.
Ben Betts is interesting to follow from Ealing indeed

Any ideas on medical joker scrum halves for 3 months if needed to cover for KM Connachta?

Micheal Heaney, ex-Ulster in Worcester, but regular starter/bencher so doubt it could happen. In "Irish Ealing exiles squad" there's also Ryan Foley, ex-Munster, spent time in France. But I think Kerrins can do the "3rd choice" job TBH. It's a unique chance for him

Don't think we need a medical joker scrum half to be honest: Blade, Mitchell and McKeon has been kept around forever despite almost no game time for the seniors so consecutive coaches must see something there... Slightly worrying that Kerins hasn't had any time at all yet considering he was one of the star players on that u20 side but hopefully he takes this opportunity and runs with it.
