So my absinthe-fuelled ravings were almost right, but we do get the excitement of a draw.
Pity they're all opponents we've played fairly recently. I'd still prefer Brive and Newcastle for the away trips. Not really much in it in terms of beatability.

They say that the distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success and your ravings are usually spot on.

Not sure there's more I need to see of Brive, nice enough place and craic was good last time but sorta peaked at Bar Basque...

Yeah Newcastle, yeah but nah because you know it'll be depths of winter and at my age hypothermia is now a real risk... B)

If it Paris, we'll need to find a new base.

It's probably the tougher of the two pools in terms of getting a high seeding for the last sixteen. You'd expect Glasgow, Toulon and Bristol to make hay in their various games against Zebre, Bath and Perpignan, which makes it a battle for the last home knockout game.
You'd be hoping that Van Graan can turn around Bath's fortunes sufficiently to take a few points off Toulon and Glasgow.

Jaysus these draws have gotten even more monotonous.
They could do the whole thing just by tossing a coin a bunch of times ...
