Does not make for pretty reading, losing Browne straight away after coming back in is annoying, and Tiernan will be a big loss also.
On the plus side great to see Butler back, but given Dawai's performance I'd keep him in the starting side and ease Butler back in.

Butler news is great. Browne so unlucky. At least it wasn't his achilles again.
Tiernan could do with a break and we need to see other guys at full back.

No bad news from injury update

Now the main question is : will Browne and above all Carey be fit to bench for the CC QF?
"the end of Marsh" for both, it'll be 50/50

Browne would have to come back into the European squad first, which would mean releasing Gallagher as a reversal, or swapping someone else out as I think you get extra swaps when you reach the knockouts.

Also was there any word on who the extra two (to make up the 25 man squad) were that travelled to South Africa, or did anyone see them on the field before the game against Treviso.

Dillane was released back to Connacht and he travelled to S.A.

The pics of the squad that Connacht shared today included one of 11 backs warming up. Pretty sure they were the 10 on duty last weekend & Akhi. That would leave 14 forwards, the 13 from Treviso and one other (a front row presumably).

just seen this up on connacht's instagram, I think I see Delahunt in there.

Also no sign of Ahki in this despite him being in the training photo from the squad update.

Maybe they're both there, could have sworn Leinster took a 26 man squad with them (though they had two games to play).

It looks like Toulouse have announced the signing of Pita Ahki for next season along with Jerome Kaino and a few others.

Heard wind of this a few months ago on Twitter but thought it might be bs.

Anyone have the inside track on this one?

Twitter is saying he's off to Toulouse at the end of the season. Seems Connacht was just a stop off on the way to France

Crosbie didn't make the cut either.
Big name 10 coming to help the Cartys out. Hope he will have a better fate than Boshoff..
